Well im impressed how quickly things are starting to happen. Getting rid of Wotte is a good move because lets face it his tactics and ideas concerning players were not going to get us out of this league. Lets hope the new manager knows his stuff.

Fair point Thedelldays,but i have also seen many police behaving just as bad. Why should they be treated differently?

I think a lot will depend on how much we have to spend,how much freedom the manager has and how much ambition our new owners show. I doubt we will attract many takers if our present team is all there is,without any hope of strengthening for the new season. For what its worth i would want to see Pearson back.

For some reason the game when we beat Wolves 4-1 when we were both in the Premiership stands out. Perhaps it was the interesting walk back to the coach and being followed by about 1000 angry Wolves fans throwing anything they could find. Happy days!

I think a lot of people are forgetting the most important thing here.A young man has died and a Saints fan as well. I didnt have the pleasure of knowing him,but r.i.p mate. Also i hope all those who were at Weymouth did his memory proud.If i had been there,i wouldve joined you all(and i wouldve worn my Saints shirt).

Funny you should say that eurosaint,because that was suggested at our BBQ.Although after todays announcement,im feeling a tad more positive,i will only celebrate when the deal has actually been done. Heres hoping.

Good for them. Last weekend a load of us had a SFC themed BBQ where you had to wear something Saints related and sing lots of Southampton fc songs after downing a shedload of beer. Cant really remember much about it,but in these dark and depressing times,it certainly cheered us all up.
