Take it you have never been in a job where they have changed your working conditions,treated you unfairly,sacked you for no reason,or just didnt like the look of you? The fact that someone has reached the last resort of having to strike,always means that the management are taking liberties or are just very bad at their job.

We are and always have been better supported than Pompey. We now find ourselves in League One,yet we are still getting better support than the Skates. This club,despite all thats gone on before is the best supported club on the South coast and hopefully us fans will soon have a team worthy of our support.

I think £5 per ticket wouldve been a sensible price for this stage of the competition.At least that price might have encouraged more to turn up.

Despite our recent form,im strangely optimistic about this one. 3-2 to the mighty Saints.

Met him in Blackpool once ,seemed a nice bloke. A very good showman.

So did we win,or like the first team did we give away our lead and lose7-6?

When we played Derby away last season,Lee Holmes was one of the reasons we won that day. I would love to see him back in the first team.

Totally agree with all of this,especially the last bit.

I cant even remember the last time i came away from St Marys feeling good. Hopefully we will start our winning streak soon.

The game was so bad today,we were even calling out for Davis to shoot when he had the ball.

I would also add to this list Listening to tv coverage about us. Having bragging rights over Pompey. Seeing loads of Saints stickers on cars,vans etc and seeing a lot more people wearing Saints tops outside Southampton.

I will be happy just to survive in this league for this season,but i will be expecting us to push for promotion next season. If we cant get promoted within two seasons with our resources,then theres something seriously wrong.

What surprises me is that despite us suffering two relegations,a never ending list of bad managers,a Chairman intent on doing his best to destroy us,chancers and timewasters coming and going and a team who couldnt seem to gel,until it was too late,we still have a very loyal and dedicated fan base. You only have to hear the Northam in full voice every home game to realise this. Yet people on here still moan about our fans? What planet are these moaners on???

He was ok when he was first here,but just didnt seem motivated anymore and was just going through the motions. Best result for everyone now hes gone.

Dont take things so seriously FF. As others have said its just a messageboard for lots of us to let off steam. To be fair all of the posters i have met away from their keyboard have all been a decent bunch and ive actually made some good friends from this site. I tend to only read posts from certain posters(yourself included) and ignore posts from a few others. Anyway hope you keep posting on here FF.

The club has come up with the idea of charging adult fans £5 and concessions £2,in the hope of encouraging more people to the game. Will anyone on here bother going to see us play in round two for the first time in our history,or is no one bothered? I will probably go and i think the club has got the price about right,although ST holders couldve been given free tickets as a thankyou,like we had against Ajax.

I got my usual seat no problem.I assume this is where i will be because the ticket office didnt say anything different.

A game we should have won.We had a lot of chances,especially in the first minute and last minutes of the match,but as usual we just couldnt score. Positives were Harding and Trotman,these two seem to add a good defence.Negatives were our lack of finishing and ability to go wide.Still early days and i have faith in Pardew. Did anyone see the Brentford fan who fell asleep during the match? When the Northam sang "Youre sh-t and you fall asleep",was a classic moment.

Brentford will come close to scoring for most of the game,but for once Saints will get a win near the end. 1-0 Saints. Though i always predict a win for Saints on a friday when i am drinking alcohol.
