This is the biggest load of tosh i seen on here for quite a while.

For what its worth PES,i hope Pompey never go to the wall because we need the rivalry to make things interesting.But i hope that Pompey fall until they are below us,so we retain the natural order of things and we get back the bragging rights. Keep posting on here PES because its good to see things from your point of view.

There were a lot of new faces in the Northam today who seemed happy to just stand there and watch the team. I tried to start a few songs,but a lot of people either didnt know the words,or couldnt be bothered. Ah well.I guess normal service will be resumed for our next home game.

Did anyone see that chap on tv a few years ago who celebrates Christmas every day?Apparantly he has decorations up all year round,eats turkey every day for dinner,unwraps a present he has bought himself and watches recordings of the queens speech. I like Christmas,but that is taking it too far.

Well when i was twelve,it was 1975,so i would not wear flared trousers,or that stupid purple tank top my mum knited for me.

You should do what i do.Send the wife down 5mins before half time,then you can go down and have your pint waiting for you.That way you dont miss any of the game. If only i could get her to have the car ready when the game ends. Oh well something to work on!

We have won.Thats all that matters. I dont care if we let goals in,as long as we score more than they do. The Skates have lost and we have won.That makes a good weekend. COYRs.

My son is at uni in Chester,so im going to the Walsall game,then off for a decent nights drinking back in Chester. Should be a good game.

Things i remember about Southampton when i was younger... Using the floating bridge, ABC cinema,(also the queues going on for miles when "Grease" came out. Southerners pub, Sovereign pub, The Marsh pub, The Albert pub, Phillips taxi service, Netley Victoria Park before the public were allowed in. When everything in Netley was fields(pre Ingleside).
