What will i miss about the Championship? Singing "We are Southampton,we,re top of the league". Winning most of our games. Meeting fans who are there to support Saints,rather than to see the other team. Being able to leave the stadium after the game within ten minutes. Reasonable ticket prices. Being able to stand amongst fans who can name the whole team. Being the first game on the football league show. When we win a game,the pundits saying it was because Saints were good,rather than because Manure,City etc were having an off day.

Yes we did,but we still didnt win them.

I should have said the last time we were in the Premiership. As for bad seasons,i would say 2005/06/07/08/09 were the worst.But saying that,the last two seasons have been the best i have ever seen.

Ive had a ST since the time we were first in the Prem and ive continued to have one throughout the bad times and all of the long way back to the Premiership.That is the choice i made.All i want is for STs to be reasonablily priced so we see a full stadium every week. Everyones circumstances are different and although i bet everyone would like to be able to afford a ST,this is not always possible.This is why i hate those ****s who wave their STs at other fans,as if this makes them out to be better.I think between £550-650 would be a right price. I think a better idea is to give a heavily discounted price of a pint to those of us who have been through the bad times.

Im by the away fans in the Northam and to be fair im surrounded by a lot of decent lads who have been there for a few seasons.Yes there seems to be more teenagers lately,but i suppose thats always been the case. I think at 48 i may be getting a little old,so i may consider moving to the Itchen North next season.

We had the perfect chance to promote ourselves tonight,but as usual,as is the Saints way,we make it difficult for ourselves and hand West Ham an outside chance. The fact that the Skates were relegated today would have made a win so much sweeter,but instead we face a nervy game against Coventry,who will still give us a hard game,despite them already being down. A win is needed next week,nothing else is acceptable!

Good post Mr Lungs and basically you have put into words how i feel. Im still confident,but i feel our injuries will be the main reason we might not make the autos. If we dont make the autos,then i dont think we have a hope getting through the play-offs,so hopefully we must go all out to try to stay in the top two.

I went down at 9-oclock this morning to get some friends a couple of Coventry tickets and joined the queue at the back of the Kingsland.Despite the ticket office computer crashing for half an hour and it being cold and rainy,i managed to get a couple in block 2 after two and a half hours of waiting.When i left it looked like the length of the waiting fans was still just as long. There was also what looked like a serious fire in the block of flats near the garage at the end of Britannia rd.Lots of fire engines and police there,so hope no one was hurt.

I was right against the Skate fans in block 42 and believe me it was very passionate. I was pushed over when we first scored and after that when Sharpes 2nd goal was given,i was again pushed towards the Skate fans,knocking serveral policemen over in the process.Luckily no one was hurt,although my legs are bruised and ive lost my voice! But it did go quiet after THAT goal at the end,but thats to be expected when we thought we had won.

I was also there and there was no trouble at all. A lot of Saints fans did welcome the Skate coaches in,but apart from the usual gestures and waving of money,the police had it covered.

We struggled today and we couldnt even keep our lead for a couple of minutes until the ref blew for full time. I was pushed over twice when we scored and ive endured those smelly fish f-ckers giving it large because they managed to snatch a draw.If we play like we did today,Reading will destroy us. Sorry but i dont feel like cheering up.
