I think for the first round a tenner for an adult ticket is a fair price,with maybe a fiver for youngsters/oaps.The idea is surely to encourage as many fans as possible to attend. Im sorry i dont buy into all this rivalry with Bournemouth rubbish.I think thats being used as an excuse to hike up the prices.If the club continue to over charge us fans for everything,then i bet attendances,especially for these early cup games,will be a lot lower than expected.

I doubt anyone things the club owe them anything.But considering the club came out with the fans charter on their own,surely its not unresonable for us fans to believe it,then feel let down when its withdrawn?

And one of those options is to never believe anything the club says again.

Most public sector jobs are there to help other people,nurses,prison officers,probation officers,librarians cleaners etc and a lot of these jobs offer lower pay,but have a better pension as compensation. Now these people will have to take a pay freeze for two more years(some already have had a pay freeze for two years already),and more than likely have to contribute more to their pensions. Hummmm.Seems a lot of people may disagree with you Dune.

In answer to the last bit of your post regards throwing objects etc,i just wish the police were so enthusiastic about getting convictions when away fans throw coins etc into the Northam.Ive had friends who have been hit by away fans (especially pompey fans),throwing things at us,but the police seem reluctant to do anything about it,even though they have cctv in the ground. I have also witnessed a Luton fan punch someone outside St Marys right in front of a copper and despite my offer to be a witness,the policeman didnt want to know,instead he ignored the victims and my protest and let the Luton fan go. I think the police were trying to justify their expenses.

If you have a punch up while in town,or even in your own home,then the old plod will arrest you and the most you will get is a fine,or maybe community service,sometimes both. Those Saints fans who were jailed were made scapegoats because the justice system treats football fans unfairly,compared to everyone else and also because the police acted totally incompetently by letting out both sets of fans at once. I bet if there was trouble at the Rose Bowl,none of those involed would be jailed.

Do you agree with privatising the Prison Service or Probation Dune?Because if the Tories get their way,thats what will happen. What you will get is a service where they employ people that are not fully qualified so they can pay them half the money.Vital services will be run for profit and what you will end up with is an inferior service,to what you had before.

Agree with the last bit of your post Joesaint. If there was a decent balance between management and the unions,life would be a lot better for the average working person.

Well Joesaint, Lets hope you are never unfairly dismissed,or have an accident at work thats the fault of the company or have your hours/job totally changed to what you do now.Whatever job you are in now,i bet most of the conditions you enjoy have been fought for by the unions at some point.

As far as i know,once you have renewed,you have to wait until after the deadline to change your seat.It wont cost anymore to do this.

But a lot of these fans who used the installment plan,supported the club through the dark days. Dont forget most ST holders would have seen two relegations,yet still wanted to buy a ST.I think your stance towards SRS is wrong and you show an arrogant attitude towards fellow fans which is sad. The club is so wrong with the way it has treated us fans and the fact it doesnt care,just shows the contempt it has for loyal fans who have stood by the club through thick and thin.

Dune,if the Nazis had won the war,this country like the rest of Europe would have been a satelite state of Germany and as such we would have been expected to supply the Nazi state with slave workers and economic help. Germany would have done what ever she wanted with the British Empire. America would have had a policy of isolationism,because without Britain,they could not have won the war.So Great Britain would be left to her fate.All of the government and royal family would have been transported to the USA before the invasion of the British Isles happened. So in answer to your question,i think Britain would have a lot worse off if we had lost the war.
