Same old Tories doing what they do best,cutting back on the public sector. Seems a great idea to sack thousands of workers who were contributing by paying taxes and national insurance,but who now will all draw dole,costing the country even more.Also the fact that there will be thousands less police on our streets because of these stupid cuts, will almost certainly add to the crime figures.Add to that less binmen,council workers,nurses etc and you have a recipe for disaster. Privatising the public sector,that just means workers get paid less,workforce is cut and the ministers responsible for privatising the different sectors,suddenly get jobs on the board of directors when they give up politics. Dont believe this Tory spin.Yes we are in debt and yes things are not good,but we owed a lot more after the war and yet the Labour government built the NHS.This proves the Con dem government are wrong.

Now hes here lets hope the players respond accordingly and start to win some games.

Surely if these players we have are better than anyone else in this league,it wouldnt matter who was in charge?We should win most games? I think we have been deluding ourselves concerning our ability.

If Adkins does finally get the job,then he will have to hit the ground running,otherwise not only will we be too far behind to win automatic promotion,but also a lot of fans will have had enough.

Thing is by the time things change for the good,how many more Saints fans will have lost the will to go to anymore games?There are already two of my regular group who have said they are not going anymore.This along with three others who stopped going because of the withdrawal of the installment plan,means Saints need to address this problem sooner,rather than later.

Didnt Dodd and Gorman have a similar record?Cant remember those two winning anything.

Well done to Cortese for inviting those lucky ST holders for a Q and A session and dinner.He didnt have to do that. The answers he gave seem very encouraging and i think judging by what i have read,NC seems to have the welfare of the club at his heart. So thanks NC,but please can you be a little bit more open with your fanbase in future,which would stop a lot of rumours and bad feeling.

At the start of the season i thought top six would be a cert,with a bit of luck even top two. Now i think we will be lower end of the table and more worrying im begining to lose any enthusiasm i still have for following Saints. Why oh why cant Saints do things without a drama?

When Wigley was put in charge,the players all said how they liked playing for him and what a nice chap he was and where did that get us? Same old tripe coming out of the official site.

Like him or not,i still think its disgusting that a fan of Southampton has been denied a ST for no reason whatsoever.

I think we are deluding ourselves if we think we have the best players in this league. A lot of teams have been promoted without spending half of what we have.

Well kpturner,i can understand why they did it,especially since all we have seen over the last 8 years has been politics and poor performances(Wembley appearance not included).But personally i wouldve waited to see who we get in and as you say,maybe it may be a cracker.

There were two people near me who said they had had enough,so went to the ticket office after the game and asked for their ST money back.Wether or not they got it i dont know,but it shows the level of bad feeling going around at the moment.

Im not sure i buy into this "Lamberts injured" rumour.Looking at his body lauguage today it seemed like he wasnt bothered.Everytime i looked,his head was always down and he didnt want to put any effort in.I hope im wrong and am just reading too much into this,but either way he cant go on like this. As for the team being happy now Pardews gone,well you couldve fooled me.We win 4-0,then when the manager goes,we lose 3-0 and 2-0. Also im sorry but i think Dean Wilkins is Steve Wigley mk11.The players like him and think hes a great guy.That just means they are allowed to get away with very little training.Wilkins is not good enough and we need a manager sooner than later.

Im sure the fans will give the team total backing by singing songs,shouting encouragement etc,even if we go 1-0 down.We will still sing and hope we will win the game with the fans support. But if the team come out and look like they couldnt give a toss,then expect abuse. Manager or not,us fans want to win and expect the team to think the same.

Anyone been to the Red Lion in below bar in town?A load of us went after a Saints game and all had a meal there.Turned out not only to be cheap,but also a really nice meal with a lot of food and good service. Also its suppost to be haunted as well.

Please let us beat Rochdale,otherwise i will get a lot of stick,knowing a few of their fans. But i think the best we can hope for is a draw.Most teams tend to step up to the plate when theres disruption,but Saints always seem to go the other way. Anyway,i will go to the game hopeful as always.
