I appreciate the efforts of all concerned who help run this board and i usually enjoy posting on here,or just reading what other people have written,good or bad. But i think while the site keeps breaking down when more than three people post on here during matchdays is offputting and at the moment a fiver is just about right and as things are ,i would not want to pay anymore.

Seems like we are taking more steps back,than forward. Dont know what is making our good team of last season be a poor team this season and i dont think taking Antonio and Papa away is excuse enough. I think we will be stuck in this godforsaken league for a lot longer yet.

Sounds like Davies and Harding are not having a good game.

There was a builders van doing the rounds in Woolston a while ago which was used by some people who maybe came from the Pakistan,India region and on the side it said, "Youve tried the cowboys,now try the indians". Made me laugh!

My youngest son is at uni in Chester and when i go up there to visit him, ive had some cracking nights out there.People are friendly and you are just far enough away from Manchester and Liverpool,so the locals havent got that attitude thing. I think Winchester is naff and i dont like going out in Southampton because its full of kids who cant handle their beer,but i guess im just getting older.

Ive been in block 42 ever since ive had a st.As with the post above,there was a big group of us when i first started going and if one of us started a song,then they would all join in,until the rest of the Northam took over.Now theres a lot less of us and those missing fans have been replaced by younger fans and it seems different people every game.These new fans dont seem to want to sing so much.But an exception to this are a few lads who try to start a lot of songs behind me in row ff.Well done lads. I think the main reason the atmosphere is not so good,is the team this season are not performing,thus this makes the watching fans more likely to shout abuse,rather than support.

We should be used to that by now.

Sorry but Hammond was dire today.He didnt win any tackles and apart from passing sideways,he offered nothing to the team. Our midfield at the moment is non exsistant and Hammond,whos supposed to be our leader brings nothing but a poor effort to our gameplain.

Doesnt matter what we think because we will never be told why Pardew left. Lets forget it and move on.

Im pretty sure if you claim copywrite,then you have to have a document issued from a solicitor stating so. My advice to you Matt is to ask to see a copy of this document.But the fact that he has halved his claim already,without going through the courts,means he knows hes on dodgy ground.

I think the difference this season,was that our expectations were much higher and we are aware how good our players can play if they try.Still as you say Arizona,it does put things into perspective.

Totally agree with this.I dont think Hammond won a tackle all game. Today was like watching a team of five year olds play.There was no movement and everyone was bunched up in the middle.With the amount of free kicks and corners we had,we should have at least got one goal,but this being Saints we typically got nothing. A lot of work ahead for Mr Adkins i think.

As Saints fans i think we have gone through more than our share of managers,owners,chairmen and players who are now playing for someone else at the top level.We have also had to put up with the fiasco of the first Ted Bates statue and things like Rupert talking about Klingons etc.It doesnt help that our freefall downwards has happened in a fairly short space of time.Lets face it we were in the Prem just six years ago. So i guess that makes a lot of us a tad bitter. But at least it shows we all still care.

I agree with you Whitey,but the same could have been said when calculaters first came out.But like calculaters,computers are part of everyday life and kids need to know how to use them.Sure lets teach them the times table,but also lets teach them how to survive in the modern world.

Iguess the team will be the same bunch of lazy,underacheivers as usual. Today one of the crowd i go with cashed in their ST because they have had enough of watching Saints freefall through the leagues and this person has had one since the Prem days.I tried to persuade otherwise but to be fair,i totally understand why.No doubt this Saturday i will come away from St Marys feeling fed up again after paying for the privilege. Nobody said it would be plain sailing supporting Saints,but they also didnt say how hard it would be.

I also think the players have to take their share of the blame.Looks like we may fighting relegation again at this rate.

Why do we always play the same one dimentional rubbish and why does this server always go into meltdown when its busy?

My son at uni would definately disagree with you concerning how easy the exams are,lol. Personally i want the best for our kids,thus giving them the best chance to compete in the ever changing world and surely that means teaching them with highly qualified teachers, in a modern classroom with the best equipment (including computers),available. Or are only rich kids deserving of this?

But Dune you cant even get a proper education under the Condems,because theyve stopped most of the funding for colleges and universities and all the schools are falling down.
