Dont get me wrong,i am happy that our owners have taken us from league one to the premiership,but i wish they would remember our history and who we were before. Treating loyal servants to the club like this is just wrong.

Theres been a few times at St Marys when the police have caused trouble,when there was no need to.Usually it starts when a policeman tells someone to stop using bad language in the Northam,when there is already the whole of block 40-42 telling the ref hes a wa--ker. Ive also seen the same as you Gemmel,when both sets of fans are getting on well,yet the police then decide to start seperating people,thus causing tention.As for filming everyone,that only causes everyone to be anti police.

If Bagpuss ever came back to St Marys,then i would give back my ST and never set foot in our stadium again until hes gone.

When i first heard "Thats alright now mama",that one song blew me away and lead me to the sounds of early rock n roll and rockabilly. To this day,it has influenced the clothes i wear,the way i cut my hair, to the type of cars i want to own(early 1950s) and no other music has ever been able to move me as much.In fact if you listen to the "Sun Sessions" Elvis did in 55/56,i doubt you will ever hear a more raw,althentic sound coming from a recording studio. My only regret is i once had a chance to see Elvis,s original guitarist Scotty Moore,but i never got round to it.Thats something i will always regret. Anyway,love or hate him, all of music will be forever indebted to Elvis Presley. RIP.

The Spice Girls shouldve been on earlier,but someone thought Posh Spice was a javilian and locked her in the equiptment cupboard.

I used to be a member when it first opened and was a member until two years ago.At first it was a good place to go and had a reasonable atmosphere,but recently it went downhill with inflated prices for beer and membership. Now the club are trying to sell family memberships at £100,they are totally delulded.

On a slightly different note,i had a mate go down to the ticket office with a friend who wasnt renewing.My mate wanted to have his seat and the ticket office said ok as long as my other friend was there to confirm his seat would be free. Now my mate hasnt had a Season ticket for a couple of years yet was still able to renew at the reduced price. Who does that work?

I think the new shirt looks awful,so at least i will save myself the price of a new one this season.

Yes its great to be English and i am proud,but doesnt mean i have to like the royals.

This is a good post. As above,the more fans the better,but if you only want to watch Saints because they are back in the Prem,then i dont care about your views.Saints are my local team and i will support them whatever league they are in.This doesnt make me a better fan,but it does give me moral high ground on any JCLs Prem fans. I hate those who wave their STs at other fans,but those returning fans should ask themselfs who they are at St Marys to watch,Saints or the opposition?

The Delldays and Dune,you make goods points and i cant argue ,but i feel you are both missing the point i was trying to make. Years ago you never had the class snobbery you have today.Just because someone has a council house,this doesnt make them a lowlife. Perhaps people just stuck together more than they do today?

Years ago there would have never been a subject like this,because most people would have lived in similar areas and everyone would have roughly earned the same and all had the same outlook on things.Sure there were richer places to live,but most of us would never have had the chance. Its a sad day that we now look down on people because they are in different circumstances.The trouble nowdays is most working class people now think they are "Middle Class",because their salaries have risen higher.I bet most of these new middle class spent their childhoods on council estates.Now im all for people being able to better themselfs,but while doing so,dont look down on others who cant or havent the ability to do so. This snobbery is a direct result of the selfish Thatcher years and the way the greedy Tories have told us how to live. Very sad indeed.
