We seem to be like headless chickens,now the Skates are beating Leeds 1-0. ******!!!!

Typical.The day when Brighton and Bournemouth play each other,we cant get our act together. Come on Saints!!!!

Sounds like Tranmere are closing us down and not letting us play.I think we will see a lot of teams doing this to us from now on.

Last time i was there was about four years ago.My wife and myself stayed in a nearby hotel,but had run out of alcohol,so i went to the local shops around Wickham square.I had a teeshirt with a Saints badge on and everyone gave me a weird stare. There were a couple of Skate shirt wearing goons walking around who seemed to follow me around and even the girl serving me called me a Scummer. My advice,dont bother going there.

Please can we not sing the names of other teams at Manure? We are Southampton! Oh when the Saints sung a lot louder than the songs they sing will sound good on the tv.

Good results for us.We just have to win now.

Maybe it is a distraction,but if we did manage to beat Manure,just think how good the team,fans and even the whole city would feel.It would give the team another boost and shut up all the plastic Manure fans going to their first game of the season. I say put out our strongest team and lets show the world what we can do.

Notts County had done their homework on us and stopped us playing the kind of game we do well.A lot of other teams will do the same if they cant outplay us.We have to adapt our game,otherwise we wont get out of this league. Also we missed Lallana which tells me we are still in need of a signing or two.

Sorry bit for me the red and white stripes win every time.This is the first time ive never owned a current home shirt. I cant wait till the begining of the new season when (hopefully),we can resume our place in the Champoinship while wearing a decent red and white striped shirt.

Radio says we have a good work rate and are chasing every ball. Lets hope we can keep this up.

I didnt bother going to the last game with Manure,because at the time our team couldnt win a raffle and we were playing the kids.But this time i think we will put up a much better fight and even though i have to move my seat (block 42),i will definately go to this one.

A few of my friends who normally stand in the Northam had to go into the Chapel because they could not get their normal seats.They said a lot of singing was going on,so i suspect that the Chapel had a lot of different fans in there today,compaired with the normal quiet lot.

I stood up (was standing anyway),and clapped Ormerod off,as did everyone around me. He deserved it for what he did for Saints.

I think Gulys goal was worth the ticket money alone.What a great performance.We totally outplayed Blackpool and should have had at least another two goals.What with Saints beating a Premiership side and the Skates losing to a League One side,its turning out to be a great weekend.

What about when we went down from the Prem? Our crowds were massive and they were loud and supportive,yet we were still relegated.

It shouldnt matter what party an MP represents.They should remember that it is a privilige to be able to serve the public and therefore they are only there to serve our interests,not their own. Any MP found to be breaking the law should rightly be punished and hopefully banned from ever standing again as a public servant.

This government is good at saying one thing,then ignoring it and doing the exact opposite. It doesnt surprise me that they have made a mess of trying to reduce the quangos and now, although they promised to do something about the bankers bonuses,those same bankers have said they are still going to pay out big bucks to themselfs again this year. This government only look after their own.

Not one of my favourite singers,but as "hamster" mentioned,hes good at Tolpuddle(i go every year) and he always seems to be doing something for charitable causes.He also did a great song supporting the miners strike. I think the people having a dig at him must be very bigoted indeed.

Agree with all of the above. Wasnt sure when Adkins was appointed,but now hes had time to do things his way,im very happy.

Saints win yet again and the Skates lose.Shame about Brighton,but at least we are looking so much stronger and a ref gives us a decision for once.Happy days.

Totally agree Thedelldays. I only started this thread because my mate was so grateful that a total stranger stopped and gave him a lift,thus saving his day.Typical of some on here though with their "Should have known better attitude". Well i spoke to many fans yesterday who didnt know that no buses were running.Most thought there was a Sunday service.So this proves that the right information didnt get through to those who use the buses. In future i suggest that both the football club and the bus companies warn well in advance of a lack of service.

If you want to insult us,at least think of your own insulting name and not use the name that our proper rivals use. Thankyou.
