This is how it will be. -
Dont know if any of you have given this much thought yet,but according to one of the national papers, next year the Queens Diamond Jubilee is to be celebrated over the weekend of Saturday 2nd-Tuesday 5th June 2012. So if you book off the Wednesday-Friday 6th-8th June you get an extra long time off. Happy hols peeps.

My manager who just picks all the time and doesnt know or care who much i really do. People in my team who moan at me because my manager has told me to tell them to do something. The fact its Tuesday. The fact that tomorrows Wednesday. Time at home and weekends seems to go twice as fast as worktime. Theres always rubbish on the tv. -
Well hamster,i live in Blackfield so just went for what i thought was the local one. They are called "Milk and more",used to be "Dairycrest".I think they are nationwide though. Just look up local milk suppliers on the web,im sure theres one near you.You can state when and how much you want when you place your order on the web as well.
-
We have a milkman who delivers twice a week and i must admit i find it convenient. You also pay by direct debit now,so you dont run up a big bill by keep missing him on a Saturday. You do pay a little bit more, but its not much. It also comes in bags instead of cartons, which cuts down on packaging.

Who's going to be supporting United tonight?

I want Manure to lose because imagine how smug all those plastics will be if they win. -
I cant understand why the club dont seem to be to be encouraging as many fans as they can through the doors? As others have pointed out,the more fans at the game, the more food, drink, merchandise the fans buy, thus the more money Saints make. And more importainly,if you have a full stadium shouting support for Saints to win, surely it will lift the players and sometimes can make the difference. The atmosphere is definately better with more fans anyway. I aways tend to gauge the way things effect Saints by how the same things effect my footy crowd.I believe my friends cover every group across the board and they all have different levels of wages, incomes and opinions concerning Saints.I mention this because two of our group have recently lost their jobs due to not fault of their own and are wondering wether or not to use their pay-offs to get STs this year. An installment plan would almost guarantee they would, but if they have to stump up a large amount up front, then they wont. With a ST,they wont be bothered to go to as many games,so the club will lose out.

I think Lowe had much more to do with our decline, rather than not appointing Hoddle, but lets not go over all of that again.

I remember talking to a load of Notts Forest fans after our last game of the season, when we were already down and they told me not to worry, because they thought we would be back up soon. Still didnt stop the hurt of falling into the third tier of English football, knwing we would be playing Dag and Red,Exeter,Rochdale etc.

I just wanted to get the driver out as quickly as possible,in case the car exploded.Guess ive seen too many films. I was involved in a very bad car accident many years ago, which involved me being thrown through a windscreen(thank god i kept my good looks lol) and i was lucky enough to have some people stop for me,so i hope i can be of some assistance to someone else in the future.

I was driving behind a car a few years ago on the north bound M3,when the car went out of control, drove across three lanes and went down an embankment and overturned several times, ending up on its roof. I pulled over, and went down to the overturned car and helped out the driver, while my mate phoned the police, who arrived within minutes. He was a bit confused, but was not too badly hurt.Seems he feel asleep at the wheel and didnt remember crashing. The police took my name and address and dealt with it from there.

If you are looking for cheap and cheerful, how about the Plough in Bursledon/Netley? Used to do a two for one deal and the food wasnt too bad either.

Well said.Im a block 42 ST holder and have been since the Prem days, but that doesnt make me any better than anyone else.It just makes me lucky i have a job that allows this and the money to afford it. It was bloody marvellous seeing a full stadium on Saturday and those extra fans added to the atmosphere. Those waving their STs are just embarrassing.

I went back to work today and all i can think of is that song "We,re coming for you".I even woke up on Sunday morning with that playing around in my head. Its a very catchy tune though. -
My youngest son always wears his Saints shirt around Chester and has met a few Saints fans around that area.
-
Seeing the teams who visit St Marys bring about three fans to support their team.It got so bad,i was going to ask the stewards for a pair of those binoculars you get at the theatre, just so i could see them. Next season is going to be sooooo much better.
-
With a full stadium of fans urging the team on,the atmosphere will be electric,so theres no way the players will lose this one. I think Saints will win 3-1.

Same as most footy day, Go to Alfred/Northam club/other drinking establishment, Drink lots of beer, Watch the mighty Saints, Another drinking establishment, Kebab, curry, chinese, Home. Record the Football League show so i can remember what ive suppose to have seen that day!

What's your very first memory of a Saints game?
rocknrollman no2 replied to sussexsaint's topic in The Saints
Thanks for correcting the date Saint Without a Halo,my memory must be going with the old age.lol. I do remember that Leeds team though and remember the FA Cup final when they beat Arsenal 1-0 with a Clarke header. -
Im not going to miss this league because....... The away teams never bring more than a handful of fans. The refs and linesmen are ****e. Most grounds cant accommodate our traveling support. We start in round one in most of the Cup competitions. Bye ,bye League One.Thank God.
