Ive been told today by someone whos very reliable, that we have sold less than 5000 so far. Doesnt sound too good. -
At first glace i dont like it,but maybe it looks better when you actually see it up close.I will with hold judgement until i take a trip to see it this Saturday.

I stopped being a member a couple of years ago. It used to be a good club, but went downhill after we were relegated from the Prem. The beer was dearer and there was no benefits from being a member, apart from reducing the walk from your last beer to the ground. Now the price has increased again,i bet the place will be empty this coming season.

Renewed mine around 1-0clock today and it took me about an hour waiting in the queue. When i walked away, the queue was as long as when i joined it,so it seemed to be a steady stream of people waiting.

The Spending Review (tackling the Socialists debt mountain)

A very good point. Surely keeping all of these people off the dole would work out cheaper for the country in the long run? -
Bullfighting is cruel,as is throwing goats off a tall tower and encouraging crowds of people to beat a donkey to death all in the name of fun. Spains animal rights makes our foxhunting(another barbaric activity),look tame.

Where do you get that statement from Dune? The government have clearly got it wrong, because we are seeing more and more strikes from people who are totally demoralised by this Condem shambles. All we see from this government is cuts after cuts, affecting everyones lifes, apart from the super rich of course. Things are only going to get worse while this bunch of clowns stay in power. -

Good for you mate. Its about time the workers stood up for their rights! -
Perhaps the club could start selling cans Crunk juice? At least it would encourage a few more fans around the ground to start singing!

I wont bother going.£14 is far too pricey for the first round. What with the price of the STs going up,beer going up and no pay rise,im going to have to give these type of games a miss.

Well Thatcher had three turns in power and Major another two after her and things didnt get any better under them? -

Good point and i think the answer is because new Labour took on a lot of Tory policies. But i have a feeling that not only will that gap get a lot bigger under the Condems, also things will become a lot worse for everyone in general. -

Good points there mack rill. What gets me, is the cause of all of this enconomic mess started in America, but all you here from the Condems is that Labour started it all.Sure i will be the first to agree that Labour made some monumental mistakes, but lets not rewrite history to suit this government. It doesnt surprise me that the Condems can find trillions of pounds for Trident,Iraq,Afganistan, ever increasing foreign aid, trillions more to bale out the banks, yet they cant find the money to honour the promises to keep public sector pensions. If they came down hard on companies avoiding paying tax, then half of these cuts wouldnt be necessary. But this is the Tories we are talking about and they will always hit the poorest people rather than their fat cat friends. -

Now we import all of our coal and are held to ransom by the likes of Russia who charge what they like for an inferior coal to the one we use to mine. Thousands were put on the dole, without any chance of ever getting a job again and whole communities were totally destroyed. Still Thatcher thought it was a good idea. -

My sister must be the unluckiest girl i know. She hasnt had a boyfriend for over five years, and now shes just caught E Coli from a cucumber!!!

I am diappointed with such a big price rise and the way the club has treated the older fans, but saying that i will still renew and be there through rain or shine.
-
So you are ok if your management tell you, you are having a pay cut and you have to re apply for your job?

For whats its worth my mother in law who has been supporting Saints since 1885 (ha ha),and has gone to every home game since the Dell days, has suddenly had a massive price rise this coming season. She has been a solid supporter throughout all of the bad years and more, yet has now been told she has to find a lot more money to continue to watch the team she has supported for years. Dont worry she has been made redundant,or the fact that at her age,she has no chance of getting another job.Im sure she will carry on. Anyway im sure there are a lot more people who support Saints and are a lot worse off. I just think in this day and age of cutbacks, maybe Saints couldve treated their older fan base a bit better?

I wonder how many on here would be happy to lose 5% of their wages, then be told if you dont like it tough?Yet the top councilors continue to draw their mega wages tied in with bonuses. I think the binmen do an importaint and messy job,yet are poorly paid at the best of times. So good luck to them and lets all stop putting ourselves first(something Thatcher taught us),and actually support the rights of low paid public sector workers, doing a job most of us would not like to do.
