Dont know if anyone is interested,but Elvis Presleys original guitarist has died aged 84. His playing was on the soundtracks on nearly all of Elvis songs from 1954-60.He last played his guitar with Elvis on his 68 comeback. Rip great man.

Great man.Went to his club in Memphis a couple of years ago.Fantastic place.

This is owned by my mother-in -law and her husband at their holiday house in Bulgaria.They had always wanted a swimming pool and were lucky enough to find a local builder who was more than happy to do this. Im off out there to use it next June,apparantly its best enjoyed when you have a beer in your hand.

This happened to my wife,in the same place about a year ago. As it was on private land,she didnt pay the fine,despite warnings.Eventually the parking company said pay half and we will call it quits,although she didnt even do this.Apparantly it costs far too much to take it to court,so they never bother. Nothing ever happened.So my advice is ignore it.

My in laws have moved to Balchick and are big Saints fans.You anywhere near them?

I would say mines a 9. I had a lot of good family get togethers earlier this year.There were a lot of great festivals in the summer,when the weather was good and i went to Memphis and Sun Studios in September,a place ive always wanted to visit.Actually while in Memphis i met my best mate from school who i havent seen for 20 years.Wow that blew me away! Happy new year to all on here.

Thanks Fm for all of the above.Im going to Memphis because im into rockabilly and very early Elvis,also i will hit fifty when im out there,so i thought i had better go soon,while i still can have my hair in a quiff.lol.Sun Studios is a definate for me,as ive always wanted to visit there.Just to be in the place where Elvis,Johnny Cash,Carl Perkins,Jerry Lee Lewis and Roy Oribison started out will be awesome.I will try and get to one of those Cajun parties as well,as they sound fantastic.Only three weeks to go now, so getting excited now.

Well im of to Memphis in a few weeks and was thinking of visiting New Orleans as well.I will try and visit some of those places you have mentioned washsaint.

I used to be a windscreen fitter many moons ago and the "magnet" you mention is a small piece of metal which slides out of your rear view mirror.Take this out,give it a clean so the surface which touches the screen is flat,keeping it the same way up(otherwise the grooves at its sides wont match up),put a small dab of glue on it(not super glue because this can crack your windscreen), stick it on.Leave this for about a day,then slowly ease on the mirror over the metal tab.Hopefully this should work.
