Exactly...who gives a toss if they paid £500k for exclusivity...yes I have no doubt all types of shenanigans were going on in order to get Pinnacle to the table....but if this goes through, who the hell cares?? Fresh start, well any start is what we need (within reason). Lallana, McG, Surman, and Schneiderlin to go - looks like progress to me... Out of those 4 only McG showed any progress last season - the other three went backwards as the season progressed...so much for giving the youngsters the opportunity eh?? Lloyd James however got better as the season went on, as did Simon Gillett when he got the opportunity.

Agreed in part....but the one thing that Crouch has done that the others haven't - is put his money where his mouth is. Yes, he may well have spoken out too promptly in the past when criticising others, but aren't they all as bad as each other? My point is this - Crouch has good Business Acumen - if he is willing to act as a Non-Exec what is the problem? Shares will no longer be an issue, therefore the power struggles should not occur - let's not forget that Crouch was sitting on the fence at the beginning of all this....yes he eventually supported Wilde, but only Leon knows why. We are where we are - but out of all of the old pratagonists - he would be the one I wouldn't have a problem with seeing at SMS. If he hadn't have bankrolled things a few months ago...we may not have a club to support anyway.

Which shows how little you know about the man then Nick...sorry but Crouch has been involved in football (Lymington Town, AFC Lymington, Bashley) for about 25 years or more...hmmmm admittedly almost now our level..but I would trust Leon more than I could throw the other two...

Indeed...when I heard about Surman, Lallana, and Pulis being out on the lash most nights in Bournemouth in the run up to games it tells you all you need to know about professionalism when your club is going down the toilet.... THAT is the culture we need to eradicate at this club - there's plenty of time for them to turn into p***heads when they retire - once they've actually ACHIEVED something of note... Before anyone asks, no I won't disclose the source, but suffice to say it was someone close to that social circle...
