Call me nostalgic, but for me the happiest times for me as a fan growing up was when KK and MC were playing...no-one under 25 may get that (just generalising) but you had to be there to appreciate how OUR CLUB was viewed back then. No-one cared who was in the Boardroom then, all that mattered was who picked the team and how many goals we scored.... Saints 8 - Coventry 2 anyone? (thanks Perry Suckling) Saints 5 - Coventry 5? Saints 3 - Man U 2? The 84 Cup Run? The 86 Cup Run? THAT goal against Liverpool? I'm welling up just thinking about it.

I once reviewed albums for the Echo's 'teenage page' whilst at Brock College... Was on TV when the cameras followed us from Swimming Pool to the ZDS final... My sister used to babysit for Dave Peach... I sat on KK's knee...whilst he was on the treatment table at The Dell....also met Micky C (yay!), Dave Armstrong, Shilts.... Once appeared on 'Albert's Gang' with Nick Girdler...told everyone I had a new Saints kit for my birthday... Interviewed by SSN outside SMS following the first protest march....

True...Lawrie told me the same in Lymington not so long ago... My sister knitted KK some baby clothes for his new daughters way back - we stayed behind at The Dell for the MOTD interviews after the ManU game (you could back then)...KK took them, thanked my sister, then two weeks later, My sister received a printed gold embossed thank you card from KK and his wife.... Pure, pure class....you can't replace memories like that...
