  1. MoanyPenny on Solent - get your comments to Alex Dyke...
  2. Meanwhile.....at the other end of the M27.... (god I love how Nicola's released this info today)... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2613018,00.html
  3. @solentsport #pompey tell @solentsport that they have no funds to pay for a scan that captain Liam Lawrence needs on an injury. Tell him to pay it himself...the s*d gets £20k a bloody week. Oh.
  4. Have to laugh at the list we've given Pompey to pass onto fans should they make it to April... Southampton Football Club Prohibited Items Flares Knives Firearms Fireworks Laser devices Bottles, glass vessels or cans Balls, frisbees or inflatable items Air horns Offensive weapons, i.e. baseball bat Flag poles Alcohol Unauthorised fliers and handouts Aerosols Smoke canisters Dangerous or hazardous items Glass Flasks Drugs (illegal substances) Musical instruments, i.e. Bell Transmitting devices or recording monitors Spray paint Cameras, flash photography or other lighting devices Flags (due to an expected capacity crowd for this specific fixture there will be no areas where flags may be displayed) Any item which may be used as a weapon and/or may compromise public safety http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/LatestNews/news/Southampton-v-Pompey-Ticket-Update-3127.aspx
  5. Dear Mr Lampitt, Having read in the Portsmouth News about your plight, and especially given Mr Appleton's comment about you only having 14 fit professionals, I would like to offer you a glimmer, of a positive result to this unfortunate situation. I have, at my own expense (to assist your cashflow) researched the market for you - Google is a wonderful thing, you can in fact use for due diligence on investors if you wish. For your next away game, I offer you this fantastic deal from a local company, as we all know Portsmouth FC (1987/2010/2012) Ltd likes to support local businesses. Please don't thank me - http://www.u-drive.co.uk/hireDetails.php?action=addToBasket&id=43 I think this should be big enough to transport the squad and your board. Kind regards, CS
  6. I once spent an entire Cross Channel ferry journey between Soton and Cherbourg drinking with Peter Rodrigues. He was steward at Shirley Con Club at the time, and told me he'd rather talk footie with me. My old man didn't believe me when I got back.
  7. How apt given the plucky phew's plight...
  8. The simple response to Corpy's post? Marc Wilson. Wages of £10k, replaced with two players earning £20k and £19k respectively. Ignore the transfer fee, it wouldn't have been in one go, and would've gone on Tal Ben Haim... Yes - austerity the Portsea way. How's the neckache looking up at us on the high ground eh Corpy?
  9. 2 players limped off as well...Lawrence & Halford... *cue violins*
  10. Two years on..but still relevant... Who'd have thought it eh?
  11. I refer the honourable gentleman to a tweet posted by a Mr Gregory Halford, currently employed by said cheating cesspit of a club... Greg Halford @GregHalford15 Awww all the wolves fans coming after me is so cute. I luv you to! But Portsmouth fans walk all over u lot! #PUP The modern footballer is only loyal to those who pay his wages. End of.

  13. All of which adds weight to the argument that AFC Pompey doesn't seem such a bad idea...
  14. Indeedy Mr Ho... However, although an independent administrator was the preferred choice of many - who's to say another Administrator would take the task on? That's the only question that Lampitt should have been pressed on last night... His answer could have been very telling..
  15. Therein lies the reason 'probably' why AA is continually involved - Lampitt has nailed his colours firmly to that particular mast - and was not even apologetic about it to the Pompey fans on Express FM last night. However, whether AA is the ONLY admin option is another question altogether (would another Admin firm actually take it on???)
  16. Is he crying on any of them? He should be.
  17. Here's the link... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/lampitt_too_early_to_judge_quality_over_quantity_decision_1_2346274
  18. We should bombard them with emails about Pompey's choice of 'quality over quantity' after the last Admin - then listen to Lampitt squirm... 5livesport@bbc.co.uk
  19. Lampitt - UHY Hacker Young - their choice of Admin... Hahahahahahaaha
  20. Lampitt just admitted that Chanrai hasn't paid the money in that he said... £2M in the bank (including the money received from PL)...
  21. Mick Williams @mickwill Think of #Pompey in administration again - it's not fault of current management, team or fans! FL/Duff owners/Administrators to blame again! Yeah of course. Nothing AT ALL to do with signing Kitson & Lawrence on £20k per week...selective memories abound down Pompey way....
  22. Mark Acheson @markacheson #pompey tell stewards by text: 'Match against Ipswich will go ahead without fail. Your attendance is essential to make this happen.'
  23. HAHAAAAAA Talksport just said that amongst other things, Southern Electric are threatening to cut them off.... Lampitt, you need to walk pal.
  24. My thought was (from Tony Husband's BBC article) that perhaps the remainder is being held back towards the CVA payment due in April. Could be wrong... Truth is, they should be getting feck all - they got themselves into this mess. (And before Corpy goes all 'owner this/owner that ******', the business plan should have been designed to cover a fall in income, no matter how small). The fact there's poor planning in the mix (see my 'sell Marc Wilson & quadruple your wage bill post earlier)....
