Schneiderlin wants to Leave / Rasiak
Channon's Sideburns replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
Going back to Rasiak for a second - has anyone seen the Reading website? I swear to God it is the ONLY time I've seen him smile - looks like he's had a restyle on the barnet front as well.. Best of luck Ras...if Burley hadn't have dropped you mid-season who knows what might have happened...see you in Waitrose at Lymington. http://www.readingfc.co.uk -
Haha...I'm sure Jimmy would be happy to pass on the info...!! He comes across in the book as one top bloke.

Great read...arrived from Amazon on Saturday, I finished it on Monday. No great revelations - however his max salary whilst with Saints was £3,950 pw (in the PREM!!) - shameful when you consider how much we've been paying players like BWP lately. Would love to know who the teammate was who took a ladyboy back to the hotel by mistake...haha You'll have to buy the book to read the rest!

Schneiderlin wants to Leave / Rasiak

Strange isn't it...'dysfunctional'...and all of the players being talked about (Rasiak,Saga,Schneiderlin,Lallana) plus Stern John (already gone) all have one common denominator... LOWE Ras, Saga and John were all moved on by him whilst Rupey Baby peed what budget we had left on useless loanees which bloated our squad beyond recognition, Schneiderlin was bought by him and Lallana was one of them 'promoted' by him as the future of this club. The legacy of Lowe is still in full effect - Pards has a job and a half on his hands but I believe we'll get there...but it's gonna take time. -
Schneiderlin wants to Leave / Rasiak

Schneiderlin would have been suited to us if we were still in the Prem - unfortunately Rupey Baby thought it was better to invest in Morgan than in other more important areas at the time... Just think...that £1.2M would have got us Rickie Lambert back in January...what could have been eh? Mind you, I did mention it at the time - it seems Rupert chose to ignore me....and also when Sam Vokes was mentioned whilst at Bournemouth. Ho Hum... -

My only hope is that we nail a deal for him quickly - don't want him around the others if his mindset isn't right. Same goes for Saga - I felt the same about Lallana in pre-season as well. You're either with us, or you're against us. If you're against us, jog on - we don't want you here. -
Looks like Schneiderlin wants to go - Solent just confirmed on Twitter - apparently the French U21 manager has got involved and Morgan has expressed a desire to leave. Poor decision Morgan - disappointed. Also, Rasiak to Watford or Reading later today it is thought.

Well...no. Yes teams raise their game coming to SMS, well like a day out in the Prem for their fans as well. Our problem is the players - simples. We have 'talented' youngsters who were 'bigged-up' by a clueless to$$er to the extent they thought they were world beaters..unfortunately they were found out to be panel beaters (apologies to all qualified panel beaters out there for comparisons with Lallana). Until we drop the wasters we won't progress. As for Saga and Rasiak - they are under LEGAL contract to play for this club. So let's play them.

Trotman shows Lallana the way by shooting with his ar$e..

Anyway back on topic... I thought that we were supposed to hold back the opposition support for 10mins or so - on Saturday it seemed they let the chavvy little scrotes out the same time as us...not exactly wise..?
-
In one sentence you have hit the nail on the head with a big WALLOP. However, both Paterson and Lambert would have nailed more (and Saga in the 2nd half) if we had decent wingers. Lallana = waste of space, goes round in circles so much I'm surprised he hasn't an ankle injury; Mellis = so far, no better than we already have; Thomson = always seems half asleep to me whenever he plays - where have the performances gone from him? (he was on fire at Bmth)... Holmes = would be a solution but seems to spend more time on the shelf than a tin of evaporated milk. SORT IT - we ain't going anywhere but down unless we improve in this area. Also, whilst I'm ranting.... RELEASE PULIS ETC NOW - FREE UP THE WAGES FOR PLAYERS THAT WILL CONTRIBUTE - SHIFT OUT FRINGE PLAYERS ON LOAN AND USE THE SAVINGS FOR BETTER PLAYERS. (The only downside to this masterplan though is whether ANYONE would want half of our squad....thanks Rupert)

I was in the same walkway as TDD..gobby little sh1tes, all about 12, shouting 'Your support is sh1t' - so they were none too intelligent either... 19,000??? They were trying to goad us but luckily our superiority and PREMIER support didn't bite...little big men until the Alfie chased them. I took the main road too, just before the alsations appeared...haha

Just had my copy delivered.... Right...Bugger everything else before I leave for the match.
-
Oh shame, he got asked to play on the wing. Can't wait to hear his revelations on us later - funny comment about Robbie Savage having 10 lounges in his house but no friends though....
-
What's the bet that this latest Poopey Consortium is another ruse to keep their players of worth on board until after the Transfer Window? e.g one day after the deadline it 'mysteriously collapses'? Just a thought - as we all know, TRUE takeovers happen behind closed doors with the minimum of fuss - no leading Press Releases required. My Pompey Golf mate told me today he's already given up on it.
-
I take your comments in the spirit they are intended NC.....please add Askham and Richards to the donation list. That's more balanced isn't it ? (How much did Lowe and Wilde donate to the cause?) ;-)
-
The gist I feel is that Davies was on £10k - hence the urgency to move him on last season. If Pulis is on more than minimum wage then we're being robbed. BTW, surely if Pardew wanted rid we could release him from the contract? Not a bad idea. Pulis' old man would probably play more games in midfield than his son FFS...
-
Markus can do as he pleases. He spent shedloads to buy this club (thank you :-) ) He put Nicola Cortese and Andy Oldknow in place to run things... He paid for HIS SEASON TICKET How much more can he do? If the idea of the thread is create some irony with complaints last season re: Lowe and Wilde (specifically) not attending all games, well done. Neither of them did any of the above...christ if they would have paid for their season tickets there would have been a round of national TV interviews to plug the fact ;-)
-
Thanks for your insightful point of view. However he is better than some of the sh1te in our midfield at present. I rest my case.
-
Jermaine Wright. There. I said it. Bring him back.
-
No-one's Scapegoating...it's called improving the team. I happen to think we would play better without Wotton and Lallana - but, only if we brought in suitable replacements first. Lallana DOES NOT HAVE A ROLE WITHIN THE TEAM UNLESS YOU BUILD IT AROUND HIM. This is League 1 - let's wake up shall we? As soon as he gets the ball for a few circular flicks some 15st Centre Half will kick him in the Achilles. On the bench, great - bring him on and give him time to progress. I'm going to be controversial with my next suggestion - I think we should bring Jermaine Wright back. SERIOUSLY. Experience, solid, good fitness and can actually pass the ball. Ideal squad player for this league.
-
Davis Murty Thomas JPS Harding Schneiderlin Hammond Holland Holmes Lambert Kevin Lisbie ---- SORTED
-
TBH I don't think he's up to that either. Should not be picked upfront in place of Rasiak, Saga or Paterson - that would be crazy. Lallana with no real positioning in the team at present is an expensive luxury we cannot afford - think of Fabrice Fernandes... Now...if we're talking about Lee Holmes...now THAT'S someone who should be playing at the moment. Would give Lambert the ammunition he needs. Lallana = Crop Circles End of.
-
ONCE we have suitable replacements on board, Lallana should be a bench warmer. Over praised (not his fault) but the truth is that he obviously started to believe the hype hence the 'Billy Big Balls' attitude when his 'mind wasn't right' pre-season. Ahh...that old chestnut, which gives people under contract the excuse to get their own way whilst in fact, within any other walk of life would be breaching the contract. The fact he's now Mr Loyalty after no-one wanted to buy him speaks volumes. Jog on - like Rasiak and Saga he needs to remember who pays his wages and put some serious work in. He ain't Le Tiss. We seem to be craving the next Le Tiss - unfortunately there was only one and we were lucky to have him.
