Will P*mpey last till the derby?
Channon's Sideburns replied to StuRomseySaint's topic in The Saints
I think to be honest there seems to be a perception that Chinarai and Gaydamak are working together on this. Could well be wide of the mark...but stranger things have happened. What's the betting some of the surrounding area is sold by Gaydamak for development in a joint project with Chinarai? It gets murkier by the day to be honest. You can bet your bottom dollar there's more to this Poopey episode than meets the eye. Also, why is Storrie 'safe' again? Surely he was the 'man' who brought in Al Mirage, so why then does he remain under Chinarai?? ..seeing that he oversaw the spending before? Or...he's there because they don't want him on the outside....and so the circle of Gaydamak, Storrie, Al Mirage, Al Fahim and Chinrai continues.... -
In that case, everyone's a winner. Glad you agree...Roll on HMRC.

Just a question, so I know I'm not being daft. On the phone, you get strictly one ticket per customer number. In most of the fans photos, they seem to be holding more than one per person. Can anyone (Luker?) confirm that it's one per number at the Box Office also? Hope it is, cause I wanted one more and couldn't get one.

I think the gist from those in the know on here was that the Directors of PFC cannot take the club into voluntary administration as the winding up petition has been booked. It has to be one of the creditors that does it - but only after consulting the HMRC - Gaydamak has already ruled that out..so I reckon the Chanrai 'takeover' is designed to hold power...and what's the bet he applies for admin through HMRC before next week? -
Wahey.... one for Skates and one for Leeds....!! Len...you star!!!

Ditto...hanging on like Avram waiting for a happy finish.

Saintsweb Prediction Fun-What happens to Pompey in court?
Channon's Sideburns replied to PaulSaint's topic in The Lounge
Smart arse...however, you will see from my post last night that they would come up with a fishy story before the court case. I fank you.. -
£48M without any other facilities for a club in the Championship on minus 10 still doesn't look too clever though. Add to that the cost of training ground, stadium etc....can't be much less than £100M from start to finish. Oh, and they would start knowing that the best fans in the land can't fill a 20k stadium. Nice.

Well it certainly starting to smell like a fishy engineered situation isn't it? Oh look...a 'miracle' just in time to delay HMRC..or at least try to confuse the issue..
-
Just a thought for our fishy friends... Ironic that Avram gets his 'relief' from Southampton, not Portsmouth?

Solent just said on the news that Prem League have said that Chanrai would have to be approved by them before a takeover is approved. Not out of jail yet Skates...

Nice to see Ed Chamberlain managing to stifle a smile when talking about the Skates problems...

I'll go that they will come up with some fishy story about new investment 24 hours before the HMRC hearing....then.... This is ignored and they are effectively wound up. Following this, the post mortem will see Skates blaming everyone bar Storrie and Redknapp...Fred Dinenage will go pale with worry, and we will be laughing our nuts off. Six months later, Redknapp and Storrie are being chased round the showers in Parkhurst by 'Fingers' McGee. Well, that's what I'd like to happen... -
Put it this way, one individual has all the tools at his disposal to awake a sleeping giant, the other.... Is just a tool. You choose which one is which.
-
Judging by his residence in Sandbanks..I'd say Up.
-
Any chance you could knock one up of 'Arry p1ssing all over a Poopey Shirt? haha..
-
Nail on the head I reckon. Well done Rupert. Fook me did I just say that ;-)

'I told Storyteller...he's getting this finger up his arse in Parkhurst if he stitches me up'
-
Ok...tell me if I'm wrong. BUT DOESN'T THAT RESEMBLE A BED PAN?

Here's a comparison between Nicola Cortese and Rupert Lowe. Cortese is a hard-hitting businessman who delivers what he has promised and obviously realises that without the fans there is no club. Therefore he sees 'the bigger picture' Lowe is a hard-hitting businessman who delivers little or none of what he has promised and obviously realises that the customers are in fact, lower life form than himself. The only 'bigger picture' he sees is one of a ****ing train. End of. To coin an overused phrase.... 'Simples'

When it comes down to it, we know this. If the fishy fingered, namby pamby, hoity toity, skanky manky, ruptured gusset, crab sticks were in the Football League, the game would have been up weeks ago. But, the Prem in their infinite wisdom seem hellbent on allowing them to survive without reproach until they are naturally relegated. Then, the Prem can move on, watch the fishy few descend like the proverbial and wash their hands of the situation. That's what it is all about. Although our neighbours down the M27 have an audience with Doris the Tea Lady at the Prem, they need to tread very carefully. The Prem seem very worried about the negative publicity. If I were a member of the PFC (thankfully I'm not) I'd take Dinenage with me to increase the profile... ;-) (therein is my honourable gesture of an idea to the skates - now back to normality)
