Perhaps their admin would have been better if they had Liz Coley....
-
I think they're skating on thin ice now. Oh Pollocks, I can no longer skate around the issue. You know what Storyteller's like. Eel try and spin a lot of drivel, floundering about the media hating them. It's no good him getting crabby, the world's no longer his oyster.
-
'And what about Southampton's clash? Oh that's right, no-one cares. Thanks for all your comments and here's to a positive week for our club for once.' That reporter is a co(k. Yeah right no-one cares, so why mention it kn0bhead. Pompey Pompey no-one cares.. If you stay or go Gambled with your future Massaged by a Ho Ignore the rules Of this fine land You gotta pay the price You've got no god given right.. CAUSE THE FUTURE'S RED AND WHITE

So, we already knew that the other involved was Grosvenor - so they've managed to pay off a maximum of £90k. Not quite £7.5M is it?

Best one I saw was the player 'Shockey' standing next to 'Bush' -
Don't believe that. Another tall Storrie. Why, when the public purse is so stretched would they accept rescheduled payments from a bunch of chancers who won't even pay the Stadium Announcer £60?
-
I have a feeling all of this meeting lark is all a p1ss in the mississippi. Tomorrow, after entering Admin, Storrie and Jacobs can declare they 'did everything they could'. Then disappear for the truth to come out much later.
-
I reckon they're still nailed on for Admin at least. The storrie's are there for face saving purposes.
-
Appreciate your post Phil. Hopefully when time allows the truth will out. My skate mate has had that lot rumbled since before Redknapp went.

Just a thought, but this sudden declaration from Gaydamak regarding the land around the stadium and now wanting his money.... Is HE going to be their creditor that sends them into Admin tomorrow?
-
Yep..'only' £7.5M. Then once he's paid that, he has to negotiate with all the other ongoing creditors. Oh, and pay the wage bill of at least £1.8M at the end of the month. I'm sure I would shell out £10M to keep them going for another month. NOT
-
TBH I feel this either: a) Gaydamak trying to sell the land quick and get some return now, making the Poopey package look better to investors; b) An attempt to muddy the waters, and give PFC a stronger argument for an adjournment. Judging by the fact this has only been released in the press this afternoon could mean all has not gone well with HMRC.
-
Update from Solent.... Apparently the land is worth £10-15M if used as stadium redevelopment, Sacha now willing to do a deal on the land, if they do a deal on the debt he is owed. Confusicus say...they try to play for time but Susan Boyle is gargling.
-
According to Solent (more after 5pm) - Gaydamak is causing problems concerning the land around the ground, complaining about the monies he is owed. Seriously, he wasn't bothered last week. More stalling....wait for tomorrow... 'Pompey announce there is dissention in the ownership'... Or that health announcement I was on about.

Nicola wants better League Results

Pardew is quoted by Solent in response to Cortese by saying 'That's his opinion'. Which, depending on how you read it could mean nothing, or something. -
In some ways the fallout of Pompey being liquidated would be terrible. What on earth will W******d do with all those tattoos?
-
By day he's a mild mannered Antique Bookshop worker..... Sounds like the start of Hong Kong Phoooey to me.
-
Storrie conveniently forgets when he slags off the press about 'sticking the knife in all season'..... It's the same press he coveted when he led Al Fahim onto the pitch. If he was that 'dedicated' to the cause, surely he would have set an example to the players by taking a temporary reduction in salary?
-
Well, that could tell us why Jacobs is still on board, him being a lawyer and all.
-
news.desk@express.co.uk - Peter White covers the South Coast clubs. Jeremy Wilson's a good bet - can't remember if he's still at the Telegraph or not. Dan Kerins @ the Echo.

May I be the first to say, before Wednesday.... F5

Not only that, but, M'Lud, I bring you the evidence of Pompey v Newcastle in the transfer of Michael Williamson. Storrie - 'Ere Doris, you got the paperwork for Williamson..I'm sellin 'im to Newquay' Doris - 'Newcastle Peter....what's the selling price?' Storrie - 'You know me Doris, I did a fantastic deal - the fans will love me more for this. Managed to offload him for £950k - blindin' deal'. Doris - 'But Peter, we paid Watford £3M for him only 6 months ago' Storrie - 'No we didn't - that was Kaboul wasn't it? Doris????' Doris - 'Peter, did anyone check this? We've got to pay Watford £1.2M if we sell him' Storrie - 'Nah....oh shi...'
-
It's funny isn't it - but if you were in charge of the spending of a business, and it was shown to be hemorraging money (according to interviews in Sept 09 from £10M to £60M now)....approaching financial meltdown... How the hell would you be allowed to stay in your job? We had the same argument last year about David Jones, but he was doing as he was told - CEO's are responsible for it.
-
One other thing, I hope Solent stop using that woman's voice on their audio. 'We are Portsmuff, they are Southampton - Goodbye' Makes no sense no matter how many times you hear it. Here's one for Solent.... 'We are Southampton supporters and we can construct a coherent sentence. Good day to you'.

That info regarding it being Gaydamak's money was posted on a Pompey Board by one of the 5 that visited the Premier League. Although most news out of Fratton Park is dubious, I would assume that it was confirmed as part of their discussions with the PL.
