Also in the 80's anyone remember Joe Blochell? Used to score tons for the reserves, but never really got to the 1st team..

For all the posters sans kids....Gigglebiz should be on in the evenings...better than most of the sh1te put on...

One other thing, how would HMRC 'know' millions went to Chinarai...???? Finance Director...sorry Manager as part of her 'evidence'??

Admin's barrister starts his reply & provides letter from BNP Paribas that Chainrai can provide £15m 2 get club 2 end of season. 4:00 AM Mar 2nd via txt HMRC asks 4 another hearing on 8/3 for club 2 provide evidence of loans/payments between club & Chainrai, evidence of charges & funding 3:51 AM Mar 2nd via txt HMRC wants 2 c Fuglers accounts (used by Jacob as club bank). It says 'we know millions went out to Chainrai in Feb' 3:44 AM Mar 2nd via txt HMRC is questioning timing of Chainrai's 'charge' (securing his debt) on PFC. It came on 7/1, after WUP started on 23/12. Bit iffy 3:15 AM Mar 2nd via txt 2nd headline: HMRC challenging value of Fratton Park. Is it Chainrai's £10m (competing 18/2/11!) or book value of £7.8m? 3:11 AM Mar 2nd via txt 1st big headline: last week Storrie revalued squad from £21m to £38m, contrary 2 normal practice but based on his 21yr experience! ----- For Weston Saint to review - these are the comments cut and pasted directly from Matt Slater's Twitter feed - http://www.twitter.com/bbc_matt Don't worry about the times shown, they're based on US time I believe. Yes, I appreciate we have no evidence that these accounts have been released, but I can't see that the Courts would allow anyone to gloss over this info.

Early 80's we had a prolific trialist...scored on an overseas trip then disappeared. La Ling? Trust me, he did exist.

I emailed Jim Hone once about us (well Burley) never addressing our CB issue. He replied that he was confident about 'Lucien Mottomo doing a job for us'. Little did Jim know that meant sweeping the changing rooms..

Albion Band please ;-) Actually Nick Halling would be good.....proper voice, loves Saints.... Stewart Dennis has a voice for radio, not a stadium. I'll do it. Or, if we want something for the kids, get the bloke off Gigglebiz. He's class :-D Gigglebiz, Gigglebiz, ho ho ho

Hutch, one of the points I made earlier in the thread was a post made by Matt Slater of the BBC, when he was posting on his Twitter feed from the courts. There was a post made which stated quite clearly - HMRC are interested in several millions transferred TO Chinarai in February. I feel that was one of the reasons they were after Fuglers Client Account. I also believe this little nugget is an additional clue just why Jacob left Fuglers. Just my assumption, but why would a 'successful' partner in a 'successful' law firm leave so quickly....? Why would you give that up to join a potless, rapidly declining football club? Only if you were a fan. Which he isn't.

Oh dear....seems like Mr Astrologicalfees has caught the Skate Over-Positivity Bug.... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/portsmouth/8548666.stm Only £30M...? Wow, bargain.

http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/frattonlatest/Premier-League-deny-parachute-payments.6120920.jp Ah well, another Mirror storrie quashed....what a surprise. :-D

(He looks like the bloke of Masterchef...) Same wavelength GM. As soon as I saw that post on Twitter from Matt Slater, there had to be something in it. The Snooze didn't mention it (therefore keeping the blue few uninformed as usual), but the BBC spotted it. Also, as with DubaiPhil & FF in mind, most 'hypothetical' posts that you make come true....;-) It's going to be a fun month.... for us.

Hilarious when you hear the first statement regarding exposing gun runners.... http://www.smarta.com/advice/general/phil-hall-pha-media

The key thing for me yesterday was one of the posts on Matt Slater's BBC Twitter feed. He was in court, and disclosed something that no-one else seems to have reported. It was stated that HMRC wanted to see Fuglers PFC Client Account (you may have heard this already) - HOWEVER one of the reasons for this was that several millions had been paid to Chinarai in February from it. http://twitter.com/bbc_matt This whole scenario cannot be dressed up as positive by Mr Astrologicalfees - it doesn't matter how you view it - from the top, from the bottom or upside down. Fishy goings on indeed. March 15th WILL go down in history - a case of 'clusterfook' proportions...... Even if Poopey reach 'proper' admin (which I think is unlikely) the legal fallout of their business practices will hurt them far more. We could be playing them again quicker than we may think..how ironic would it be that Swindon's former Administrator was then running the admin of PFC with a similar outcome.

I shall simply say Nickh is my hero. ;-) Repeat after me..... Pompey will get out of it. (FA Cup,Premiership, CCC, and then L1)

Now, THIS is interesting... http://www.thelawyer.com/mayer-brown-advises-on-latest-sale-of-portsmouth-fc/1002199.article --- Hamill explained that Al Fahim, who will stay at the club as non-executive chairman, had sold the majority of his stake after paying off the club’s creditors, including £35m to Standard Bank. “The issue was that the club’s bankers and HM Revenue & Customs seized on the opportunity of change of ownership to get paid out,” he said. “The club has, in effect, had to meet those demands in the last six weeks. That has accentuated the need for further financing, although it was always Al Fahim’s intention to bring in other investors.” --- What?! Al Fahim paid off all the creditors?????? I think not.

Used to be Fuglers......haha Now Bulsara & Co. http://www.balsara.co.uk/

I really cannot see how they can wangle their way out of this... Even IF they avoid liquidation, by the time investigations are complete, I'm fairly happy with the assumption they'll be in League One.
-
South Today mentioned in their report earlier... PCFC and the Administrators share the same legal firm..... hmmmmm wonder who that could be???? ;-)

Yep, the first issue pre-season had 'Draper Tools' but then the 'Tools' was dropped.....
-
It's ok, I bet the Colombian's interested in buying the skates..... :-D
-
Well according to the prices on there...my little collection is worth £512..... Plus I have a Keegan type top (no sponsor) as well....it's a bit small as I was 6 at the time. Surprised about the special 'Dell shirt' (£44.99) - the Saints shop were selling them off for £15 when we moved to St Marys....
-
Big LOL at Colin Farmery on Solent... 'Well it's not a completely positive step....' - he did put the presenter right though, who was trying to lead the whole 'HMRC Bad Boys' routine. CF seemed to put across that finally some clarity would be given. In the meantime, I feel I've seen Pompey's future..................
