I guess it comes down to this Nick. Who do you believe? Vantis or Andronikou? Hmm. (The funniest thing of all is the Blue Few, who believe ANYONE)

Thinking back a bit... Gayda's land around the stadium has floating charges attached. So in theory he could have raised money against the land to put into the club...as loans. That *could* be where his club debt comes from. I love a good conspiracy theory, in fact Pompey's like 'conspiracy-porn'. Which explains why this thread is so long. And it will get longer... I really think the proverbial would be hitting the fan already had Redkrapp not fouled up....
-
My fave conspiracy theory (based on a post on the Guardian article)... Chinarai is Al-Mirage...... If anyone can, put a pic of Chinarai alongside one of Al-Mirage's brother.... Hmmm...wouldn't it be funny. I guess we'd best compare the ears. ;-)

+1 - I bet anyone from on here who can dissect those points raised by TalkSport wouldn't stand a cat in hell's chance of getting on. Why? Because it's Jerry Springer radio. Same with most media - Solent Vox Pops included, they always hunt out the idiots.

Looking at those comments on the Guardian page...christ. As for Phil Cavity...well, let's just say 'poor' little scummer is wrong on so many levels. BTW, when did they sign Rocha? Whilst in Admin was it? So, if they did, surely that offering a new player a somewhat generous add-on is another irresponsible move of a CEO? No surprise there then. What a putrid, infection on the arse of football they are. C H E A T S
-
Easy peasy. We maintained the debt on the stadium right up til we went into Admin - over an overdraft facility of thousands. The stadium didn't allow us to win matches that affected other teams who have paid their bills for the last 2 years. We sold all the players we could to reduce our wage bill - we played the youth team and got relegated as a consequence. Our CEO went the day we went into Admin and the Administrator took over the running of the club, ensuring that we survived. Pray tell, what measures has PFC completed, pre or post-Admin to reduce your outgoings? Oh, apart from letting the tea lady go?

If this were a Skate Forum he'd be banned about a minute after appearing. So welcome BlueJob. TBH one of the reasons we can take the high ground over that lot is how accommodating we are of their views. Take a look at the Portsmouth News replies to articles....anyone DARE post anything which defames that wonderful, downtrodden club and your post can be erased as 'unsuitable'. Nothing like free speech eh? Still, they are on the slab, and it's being greased.
-
Nah, not quite. Bluejob, one of my best mates is of the blue persuasion, as yourself. He is embarrassed by the club. Football should be embarrassed in general, Pompey's appearance at the FA's showpiece event is a disgrace. Not for some of the 'genuine' PFC fans (who I wish well) but the ones who cannot get their head past the 'Oh the Premier League has conspired against us' and 'Avram Bull****'. You (as PFC) made your way to the final using players who you could not afford, traded insolvent, and made a mockery of the Premier League. The history books will not have you down as 'plucky Pompey' if you win against Chelsea - it will be 'the club who cheated their way to the FA Cup'... I'm sure the FA will love that....

Matt Slater on his Twitter feed (he's a BBC reporter) said this earlier... 'Expecting news from #Pompey on Fri re CVA & % of £99.8m debt 2 b repaid. 30%ish is my guess. HMRC wont b happy but wont b able 2 block' C H E A T S

Solent were reporting that Android is trying to appeal to UEFA to allow the Skates to enter the Europa next year following yesterday. To quote the man himself... 'Complete B***ocks' Good luck with that Pompey Boy.... :-D As Madness once sang.... 'YOU'RE AN EMBARRASSMENT' C H E A T S

Well..... IF (and its a ******* BIG IF) it is TRUE that 6 of their players will miss out due to contractual issues.... May 15th could still be a wonderful day. Chelski won't roll over like Spurs did... I actually said to the Mrs half way through that the game today was almost a carbon copy of Saints v Skates. Lady Luck is smiling on the fishy caravan dwellers. FOR NOW. KARMA'S GONNA GET YOU :-D
-
B@stards was my first thought. Haha, but now they have to face full strength Chelski with apparently 6 of their squad unlikely to play. Retribution could well begin in the showpiece final. About ****ing time too. C H E A T S
-
Well the only consolation is knowing you'd feel dirtier if you supported the Blue Few... I shall be shouting for Spurs for the whole 90mins, no shame in that. Karma Police are on the Skate Trail..... COME ON YOU NORTH LONDON YOBBOS!!! :-D

Post from 'Thin White Duke' on the Vanden Borre thread... I took a mate for a check up at Southampton general hospital yesterday and unfortunately he was admitted as an emergency and in the next cubicle was Anthony Vanden Boore the Zaire born Belgian player currently on loan from Genoa at P****y! Also in attendance was their club doctor Nigel Sellars who was quite chatty, apparently the player complained of stomach pains during a training session at Eastleigh and had suspected appendicitis which later proved to be be not the case. Anyhoo their doc was telling me that the administrators have asked asked him to take a 55% pay cut for working exactly the same hours which he was quite adamant that was not going to happen. He then proceeded to tell me what a great stadium and facilities we had and how envious he was blah blah. Also I asked about Sunday's semi-final and he quite openly told me that nearly all their 'better' players would be fit even though one player (unnamed) had a small stress fracture in a vertebrae in his back but Avram Grant insisted he play because ' he is not our player, he's only on loan'. All this made me think, anyone else come in to contact accidently with a premiership player in recent times at work or in public?

Oh this auspicious day for football honesty. We have the cheating theiving fishy few facing the ghosts of Portsmuff Past. In the next seven days we ask you Lord to administer proper justice. Amen (well it is Sunday) COME ON YOU SPURS BEAT THE C H E A T S

I think the reason why BNP get some support is because of (in a clever PR like way) they hijack the political arena by openly criticising immigration etc...in a way that no 'normal' party would. They do this because all the others are frightened of being classified as 'politically incorrect' - political correctness has a LOT to answer for. I don't support or endorse the BNP but in my little village there's one property who always plasters their front gate with BNP posters...so Thorpie has a valid point. Where the fook this attitude comes from I don't know. Ironically, isn't it funny that inward immigration is seen as such a problem, but it's glossed over that WE could work in Poland etc if we wanted....it works both ways.

Ok..to pull it back on thread. We lovingly know him as 'Andy Android'..so to put the two themes together..perhaps he could be 'Metal Mickey'. Or Bod. Everyone forgot Bod. On the Pimpley side of things, Utaka's in the Express today saying it's good they are underdogs. http://www.express.co.uk/football/view/167914/John-Utaka-has-a-spur-to-beat-odds

Probably thought up after a trip to MonkeyWorld.

Eddie Mitchell??

The interview should have been translated to... 'Errrr well the investor at present won't commit until we have seen the books, especially as the Administrator seems to have forgotten about forensic accounting. You don't become a Secret Millionaire by buying a debt, flea infested football club for millions. Oh.'

Ahem...before reading put down any beverage you may be holding. http://uk.linkedin.com/pub/marc-jackson/6/168/467

Errrr...my first game was in 1980 and it was being chanted then. HTH Another one I miss though.... 'Come on Saints...you can beat this ****'

Just came across this on their site from last week.... 'As of Thursday, April 1 2010, the ticket office in Rodney Road will no longer be able to accept cheques as a method of payment. From this date, credit/debit cards and cash (in person purchasers only) will be the only valid forms of payment when purchasing seats through the ticket office.' Ehhh???? No wonder they've hit the bottom of the sea if they've been accepting cheques for payment for tickets. Thought they weren't allowed to use their bank account anyway??? Did Fuglers get the funds before then? Anyway, side issue I guess, but I wanted to find out how many they've sold. No mention.....as yet. Guess they're hawking them round Collingwood as we speak.

I'd have Cloughie over a Wenger type all day long. Cloughie said it as he saw it. Wenger bleats like a ******* sheep when things go against him, everyone's got it in for his players (apparently) but when his do something...oh dear he didn't see it. W*nker. Same for Ferguson. Warnock's a tw*t at times, but he's the closest thing to Cloughie in football today.
