  1. Basically it's like this. Unless you're a Saints fan, most 'neutrals' (at the moment at least) don't know enough about the Skate situation in order to care. Now then, if HMRC take it back to court, it's going to get a whole lot more coverage. The skate fans will, ultimately believe what they're told - regardless of what they say. Think of how long it took before they protested.... It ain't over yet, and I (4-1) as they seem to love quoting, can't wait. Whatever happens next, their day in the sun has clouded over, and it's about to p1ss down.
  2. Without ranting CL, Burley did start off ok with us, but to be honest the last couple of seasons were embarrassing. Too many excuses, never seemed concerned that we were 'aiming only for the playoffs' - the guy smacked of under-ambition, which translated to the players. Bought a shedload of crap for us as well. Not to mention dropping Rasiak when he was on fire, unforgivable.
  3. ...and I bet the Palace fans thought it couldn't get any worse....
  4. TBH the decision today actually simpliflies the parties involved. First it was Andronikou v HMRC v Other Creditors. Now? Andronikou v HMRC. Looking forward to that one.......'transparency' was the word used when the administrators took over. No public confirmation of 'forensic accounting' being completed as promised...... No explanation why the SoA by Vantis was soooooo out of touch with the figures NOW being quoted. *cups ear* - what is that? Ooooh..SuBO's gargling Listerine.........
  5. So by means of 81% being quoted, and knowing HMRC voted against..... AA now considers their debt to be 19%???? Thought he said his version was 21%??? Accounting procedures of a monopoly board....
  6. Well whatever happens next, the truth is this - for Nickh & NickG to seek solace in. THEIR LUCK WILL RUN OUT SOONER OR LATER. Laurence on Solent saying 81% approve....which is bull****. This ain't the end......haha :-D
  7. I always thought that the additional £14M was the fines attached by HMRC for late payment - which they were in the right to claim.
  8. Think it's @BBC_Matt on Twitter.
  9. Ah well, I suppose his fees have increased the debt further.....haha TBH 80% + 21% is standard accounting practice at Nottarf Krap...you shouldn't be surprised Pedg. It ain't over until Susan Boyle sings.
  10. Good morning all! Here we are again... Eyes down for a FULL HOUSE.... CHEATING BASTARDS
  11. In Daily Mail speak, does the headline 'Mystery Ukrainian Consortium' mean 'We don't believe they exist'??? Just a thought. Has Lifelong Skate offered anything yet?
  12. This is a good article... http://www.twohundredpercent.net/?p=5438 Strange this link when he was at Swindon....'invited' to the club by Terry Brady - wasn't he a director at Portsmouth at one time???
  13. Hell, let's have a Saints Web Forum rep. Personally I have nothing against Illingsworth, never met the bloke, but to be honest, he doesn't speak for me. I joined the Saints Trust when it started, was never asked to renew, so I guess I'm in their totals. The Echo adds weight to the 'Trust' by giving them paper space. THAT needs to be sorted.
  14. Exactly, what a 'transfer embargo' should be. Oh dear, they'll need to be led through that one, the blue few. No cheating?...surely not.
  15. I think the only thing missing from UHY's response is the term 'absolute b**locks'.... Such a professional term which has been used and reported in the past....haha
  16. Let's face it, the Blue Few have a completely bankrupt club to support. Morally and financially bankrupt. That is one thing which cannot be changed by 'clever' PR and news articles. The general public now know that the administration is, at best 'flawed'. I see Storrieteller's in court again today. Getting quite regular...they'll be having a special car parking spot for Pompey soon... I was always one of the first to criticise RupeyBaby, but to be honest, in comparison to that shower of.....he really was a Saint in comparison. Wonder if Rupey will send Mandaric some soap on a rope for use in the future? Great revenge for that duck.....
  17. What about on her head?
  18. Tell you what, there's a Scooby Doo episode in all this. Right at the end...Old Man Withers from the Amusement Park is unmasked as the administrator...... 'I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for the pesky HMRC & SWF'
  19. It's a great plan isn't it? :-D PAY UP POMPEY Oh.......... C H E A T S
  20. Well....MM doesn't rate Surman, but he does rate Sam Vokes. I remember the thread I started when he was at Bournemouth, and some on here reckoned that Vokes wasn't worth the gamble........ ;-)
  21. Having once had the misfortune to visit Nottarf Krap for a Skates v Wolves game...I can honestly say it was the most oppressive atmosphere I'd been to. Just generally (I know, but from the ones I encountered) I found the Skate fans to be unpleasant. And I was sat amongst them...long story but a mate of mine supports Wolves. No colours on show...mind you, some skates had a radio on during the exodus from the rabbit warren. I think we were away at Highfield Road that day...we sneaked a point. I held it in.....after escaping Nottarf in 1984 when 'the gratest fans in the world' were lugging bricks at coaches with families in it, just because they were saints. And they call us 'Scum'....
  22. Stu, go out in your car first and use the mileometer to set your routes. I did GSR last year from Wave's charity...bloody hard work to be honest. Especially when the wind on the seafront gets you about 2 miles from the finish. I've done London Marathon twice, but that was harder. Sounds bloody daft, but true. Can't emphasise enough the importance of the right trainers/socks. Other tip - plasters over the nips pal. Having experienced joggers nipple, it hurts like a bastard....
  23. GM has a valid point. Go to any of the Portsmuff News site pages, comment on ANY of the threads. If you have any link to Saints, or perhaps, dare i say it, disagree with the blue few on any point - what happens? 'Comment deemed unsuitable by another user' Nothing like heads in the sand boys - shame. Trouble with that is, your arse is in the air..much as Mandaric and Storrieteller will find out in Parkhurst....
  24. I can imagine the conversation went something like this... RL : We're off to look at goalkeepers, need some back up for Kelvin..... ANOTHER : Weather's looking ok.. Have you seen the Forecast - looking good... The rest is history. One confused conversation and one dodgy keeper.
  25. Has Andronikou started...sorry completed his forensic accounting yet?
