  1. 100% what I found. How that business makes ANY money when middle management just walk around, delegate and drink coffee is beyond me. Ground floor, you'll never meet nicer people. One step up....bunch of numbnuts.
  2. B&Q are schysters pure and simple. To get the rate of pay they'd advertised, you'd have to train up for at least 2 years. You were lucky - the ad said £7.85 ph, they offered me £5.93ph. Their HR is non-existant, in fact it cost them when I jacked it in as they forgot to give me a contract to sign after three months - they expected 4wks notice, I gave them one. They didn't have a leg to stand on. Clueless.
  3. If you apply for B&Q, and get an interview, be aware - the payrates on their website are bogus. When the time comes, they'll only offer you about 10p above minimum wage, when their website indicates above £7ph.
  4. It never was him. I know this because we didn't see his earlobes. Talking of Pinnacle, did we ever find out who was linked to Merrington's Asturius group? I know they had an office in the Regus at Eastleigh.. HTH IMHO WIFM
  5. Our online system is a bit pants. Do the whole book selected seat thingy like he said..
  6. Can't wait for Storrie's Court Case....how long til it starts?
  7. Oh, it's all part of the plan... Build up the blue few's hope only to wind it all up as 'there's no other option or buyer'... I think it was said on Page 121 or something...'It's the hope that'll kill 'em' Karma....pure karma. Payback time, Mr Chinnery wants his profit.
  8. Perhaps ol' Corpy Ho Ho Ho doesn't want to post anything that could impact a court case...could be wrong I guess?! BTW, texted Solent last night asking why Cotterill can moan about the lack of players when he chose 'quality over quantity'..can't have it both ways Stev-o....ah I forgot, that the Poopey way isn't it? Buy now, pay in 300000 instalments. Mind you, I expect DFS and the like could furnish a new stadium (well a 3 seater settee) on the never never. Actually, Poopey should have 'Enter Sandman' as their entrance music....... 'We're off to never never land....'
  9. Reading those comments from Matt Slater's blog, it can be summed up like this. They STILL don't get it. Perhaps they will in the summer..
  10. Listen!...it's no good you runnin' away - stop pressing the bell on my bus!
  11. It's the hope that will kill them. Hey-ho. To think when this thread started, my youngest couldn't speak. How time flies eh?
  12. I tried to show my appreciation for Markus at the first home game following his passing. Tried to put my red on white WIFM banner above the stairwell, but got told by stewards that it could only go to the back of the stand, therefore not visible. Marvellous... Be prepared for some over zealous killjoys.
  13. When I emailed Jim Hone once about our continual George Burley led Central Defender millstone, he replied with.... 'I understand your concerns but I'm sure that Lucien Mettomo will do a job for us' Little did he realise that was locking up Staplewood at the end of training.
  14. Barnard = Ormerod with goals. He's ******* brilliant in my book. NEVER gives up. How many players anywhere can be described as such?
  15. I have in fact won the Euro Millions. Only 2 numbers and one of the special ones, but still. £5.40 should buy it surely? Hang on, I'd want change.
  16. That deep hole my friend, is their finances.
  17. Christ on a bike, are they fookin blind?! Yes sir, we would like you to pay us by the end of March. Why?! Cashflow dear boy, cashflow. Shall I compare it to the day before sign on day? Mwaahhahhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.... Karma's a b1tch.
  18. *** WARNING *** Major LOLage ahead. Received this email from some Pompey organisation earlier (christ knows how) and I quote.... Clare Martin, who runs the Pompey Study Centre, outlined four key programmes which are running in 2011: • Passion for Pompey - poetry with local community radio station Express FM. Volunteers are needed to help youngsters develop their creative writing skills through their Passion for Pompey. (PFC obviously looking for someone to dream up some more player contracts) • Fratton Art - Spray Up Pompey! Volunteers can bring their families and create themed artwork to brighten up the walls of the stadium (yes, someone please improve this 'stadium' for free) • Stadium Challenge/Dragons' Den. Dragons required to assess youngsters' proposals for a re-designed stadium! (trying to find new owners no doubt) • 'My Pompey DVD' digital editing days at Fratton Park. Lend your creative and technical skills to help youngsters create and edit their own Pompey DVD. (i.e you will be producing the 2010/11 End of Season DVD) Haha... Nice to see that Pompey have taken Dave's 'Big Society' on board. Don't think Dave meant running a football club though.
  19. What he said.
  20. Nah Race for Life for both sexes on the Common would never work. Have you ever been there and seen the queues for the toilets?!
  21. Mitchell sounded ****ed on the Solent pre-match. Slurring words and all sorts. Perhaps he wasn't but he sounded like it.
  22. Haha.... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/bygone-blues/new_twist_in_ben_haim_saga_1_2436080
  23. Looks like they're resorting to putting Liam Lawrence into an oxygen chamber to get fit.... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/bygone-blues/blues_bid_to_speed_up_star_s_return_1_2438782 Well....we all know there's no fresh air in Poopey don't we....haha
  24. TBF it's difficult to criticise Rodney for leaving - he could probably see that we were only going to standstill. Especially with Mr Burns the Chairman holding the pennies tighter than a gnat's chuff. It's 50/50 for me. Put it this way, we had Danny's best years as a player - whereas we only got the start of Rodney's. With Danny, the way he conducts himself is fantastic - on Facebook he's happy to be friendly with fans. Top bloke. Would be worth MORE than ******* Rooney these days. Speed, and finishing? Look at how Redkrapp goes on about Lennon - he's not half the player Danny was. Danny for me is a Saint for life. Rodney? Would have been nice to see him there last Sunday TBH. Good to see Ray though as well.
