  1. He can dine out on that day as much as he likes in my book. A book, that is now available via Amazon for £9.99...
  2. Are they 'walking' that league yet?
  3. Oops. Just seen other posts. 'For me Clive, that post was a bit ill-conceived on the Saints Forum'
  4. Nah, he went to a 'bigger' club first (or so he thought), Norwich.
  5. Vincent Tan admits he was wrong eh? You wouldn't have got that with Cortese...
  6. POMPEY SIGN TUBBS
  7. It's the gift that keeps on giving. This thread will never end....because they won't ever change. HMRC...you had ONE job.... Still K-A-R-M-A
  8. Our RH side first half today was costing us - JWP was doing his best, but SL didn't look that interested out there on the right. Why not just play him in the Mane role??
  9. Looking at him more closely today..he has a bit of a young Claus about him.
  10. Thought ref was very inconsistent today. On one occasion I felt he should have booked the Ipswich player, but caught up in playing the advantage, seemed to 'forget'...
  11. Let the little fart think long and hard over the next few weeks. The FACT that he doesn't have the BALLS to slap in a written transfer request says it all. Man up. Act like a man - use Luke Shaw (18) as your role model. Pathetic behaviour from a 26 year old.
  12. A lot of Liverpool fans on Twitter think AL is not worth the price tag. Yes, he's been good this season, but he's not MLT and never will be. Seems like the classic case of 'been told he's wonderful since the age of 5' and when he finally doesn't get what he wants.... boo hoo.
  13. Agreed, but deal with it like a man, not by getting someone to run to the local press like a whingy overpaid wotsit to try and get people to feel sorry for you.
  14. Lallana can jog on. Contracts are a two way street. He's just using the press before the inevitable transfer request. Loyalty?!!!
  15. Sam Vokes. I've said it before...I'll say it again.
  16. Well, if Mr Schmeichel is watching this thread, congrats. Must be nice to be representing a club that has to rely on buying in talent instead of developing it themselves... Looking forward to the last game of the season.
  17. I wrote to Jim'll Fix It once too. Wanted to be a Saints mascot. The old bugger did the gig - I remember watching from the Family Centre as the cameras followed a young girl, who had her wish instead. Rather glad I got overlooked in hindsight...
  18. Popcorn at the ready....
  19. MLT = legend. On the pitch. But come on, take the rose tinted glasses off - where would we be NOW if Pinnacle HAD taken over? I'm sorry, but if you don't do due diligence on the business partners you're supposedly getting into bed with before they use YOUR well earned profile, that's a BIG mistake. The comments he's made since Cortese left has only proved to stir the **** more. Don't know what happened, and I guess I never will - but we're talking about humans here, not some super beings on a pedestal.
  20. That's Markus' daughter your disrespecting.
  21. I said we should have signed Vokes a few years ago. Got shouted down then saying 'he'd never be good enough' for us even in the Championship. Mind you, I also got shot down when I suggested that we sign this bloke - and that ended terribly... http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/archive/index.php/t-7620.html?
  22. No wonder they're all for 'safe standing' - would save them on ground improvements.
  23. She's just very fortunate to be representing the most f***ed up city in the country that has it's palms open like Oliver Twist on a regular basis. Is there anything in Portsmuff that doesn't need renovating? You should've heard all the Tories ringing in to support her on Cleggie's breakfast show this morning. Cringeworthy.
  24. The other benefit of keeping the term the same is that if you had a mild calamity like the car packing up, one month you could revert to the basic contractual payment if you needed to.
