Let's just take him and, say, Kitson - again rumoured at the time to be on £20k per week. £57k pw (before appearances, maybe the odd goal here and there, forget win bonuses of course) x 52 (wks) = £2,964,000 Pompey economics eh? Potentially 37% of your annual budget on two players. Good work.
