Anyone else thinking that it's a bit odd that Andronikou was able to speak so confidently live on Solent on Tuesday night regarding how Poopey were safe from a points deduction? You would have thought that any IP instructed last Friday would still be assessing all the company information available (for all CSI subsidaries) before coming out and commenting on one specific element. Makes you wonder if he's had the info for a few weeks doesn't it?

Skoda Octavia's are good value - Passatt without the price tag...had mine for 6 years - never missed a beat.

Like I said earlier, this whole episode smacks of when they were last at St Marys in the cup - early January remember? The whole of the build up was 'will they survive until then'? Then they re-signed O'Hara, Owusu-Abeyie and Rocha when they were blatantly insolvent... You watch the same thing happen all over again. FL fall over themselves to help etc etc etc. I hope I'm wrong....

God Bless dear old Ken, he used to live down the road from me. A Saints legend (unintentionally) by the Pier episode. Heard on Solent that SOS Pompey have reformed. They must be reading this thread because they've finally caught up about the FSA and Snoras. Oh do keep up Skates...
-
Seeing he came up with the last lot.... He'll have trouble finding a deaf, blind and dumb investor who can't hear about the Skates, see the Skates books, or say No.

Interesting... hmmmmmm

Isle of Wight? Hayling Island?

Just realised something... All this happening before the 19th Dec...but can you remember the run up to the FA Cup game at St Marys? The whole 'will they, won't they survive until then'... Deja vu.....

I know it may be out of kilter with some personal preferences, but some solicitors that operate online (and I'm talking legit arms of known companies) have a guarantee of no completion, no fees (apart from disbursements).

Beckham might be considered by some to be thick...but he's not THAT thick.

I'm surprised they're not for sale on Ebay yet.... But this is... OUR HERO .... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PETER-STORRIE-PORTSMOUTH-2002-2010-ORIG-HAND-SIGNED-/290605983068?pt=UK_DVD_Film_TV_Autographs_CV&hash=item43a977655c#ht_1137wt_1037 :adore::adore::adore::adore:

AA spluttered all the way through his interview on Solent as well. Adam B asked him why their situation (cleverly not mentioning CSI or Skates specifically) and AA went on to say that Pimpley weren't at risk of a points deduction like Saints were. He's winging it. Plus, by his reponse, the indicators were there - CSI/Pompey are one and the same.

Far, far better player than some give him credit for. He's our new Brett Ormerod. With goals.

This question got asked on Twitter last night - an insolvency expert said it is sometimes done as the individual can act quicker as they already have an understanding of the companies involved. That's ONE theory though...

I love it when you post Scoobs. That avatar pops up...haha

Have to love the Skate fans on Twitter trying to find a new owner... So far? Richard Branson, Lord Sugar, Tony Fernandes, and Peppa Pig. Look at #pompey for all the fun.

One other thing I've spotted from that Guardian article - that Antonov has been underwriting £10.5M since he took over for player purchases and WAGES. 'Akers told the Guardian that Antonov has invested around £10.5m into Portsmouth to pay for transfer fees and underwrite players' wages since CSI bought the club from the previous owner, the Hong Kong-based businessman, Balram Chainrai, in June.' So then...if his money was moody...strip that away and they're trading whilst insolvent (THE CLUB, not CSI).

WHS ^^^^ For the likes of Mero I have every sympathy, but Ho Ho Ho and the like??? Nah. For every honest Pompey fan on here there's another 100 who (if you dare go onto their forums) ban you within a post because of who you support - followed by endless abuse. Not to mention the 1000's who have been happy to accept any dodgy sods money if it fills their heart with football hope. I have strong memories of leaving FP in 1984 at the age of 10 dodging bricks being thrown at our coach. You can forgive that sort of behaviour, but never forget.

Aha...but with Mr Chinnery as a secured creditor..... you know that thing that surgeons do after an operation....
-
Nah not quite... haha
-
Oh Antonov's resigned. That's ok then. As you were everyone....
