  1. Ah Dalek, you call it despondent, I call it realistic. Don't you wish that you could exterminate the board?
  2. Aren't Flat Caps and Whippets obligatory in League 1?
  3. BWP on for Smith Yeay!!!!

  15. Hi all, Seasons Greetings from my Xmas Break in Gothenburg... Having missed the AGM due to flights (bad planning on my part or Rupey's -you decide), and having caught up on the AGM shenanigans this afternoon.... My plan for the Man U game is to wear a Plain White T Shirt (a la Primark circa 2quid) under my Saints Shirt, to be shown once the game is underway with 'LOWE OUT' in Big, black lettering, front and back. Do it yourself, blag a marker pen and show your solidarity. Stand up, stand proud, and show the world that we will no longer tolerate this 'individual'. For 2 Quid you make your feelings known. Let's Do It!!!
  16. No...he's just sweeping leaves on Rupey's estate... He's now Ted off the Fast Show..
  17. Hmmm let's see - perhaps Crouch was not allowed to bring anyone in at that time by the future encumbents of our boardroom...you know, the train spotters? The writing was on the wall when everyone knew the end result of the EGM. Crouch I have no doubt knows of Sam's family (Lymington's community isn't that big) and I cannot see that he would have overlooked such a local talent (and FULL WELSH INTERNATIONAL) - AVAILABLE FOR AROUND £250K. Seeing as Rupey's blueprint was for youth, even if he was aware that Crouch wanted Vokes, he would have been pig-headed at best to overlook the opportunity. BTW, according to another thread, Wilde's not at the AGM - christ, he's more elusive than Lord Lucan and the Easter Bunny at the moment. Let's hope Rupey finds Mikey the role of the Easter Bunny at the home game around Easter.
  18. Ah Singapore will be nice - I don't think he'll be able to forget about Saints whilst he is there though... There's a lot of local ex-pats out there, my cousin is working for Esso out there at the moment..lots of Saints fans to bump into!
  19. Including Sam Vokes - who we could have bought for less money than Schneiderlin. And, who is twice the player McGoldrick will ever be - yeah great job you did there Rupert in missing that one.
  20. Yes, but our style of play isn't exactly being reflected in our league position is it? You may not agree, but there is a major deja vu feeling for me here - this season feels a lot like our relegation season. Remember the games there where we should have won, but only drew? The times when we wouldn't (or couldn't) kill teams off? We had a squad then that was full of loanees - hmmmm.. WE DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO WAIT FOR POTENTIAL TO DEVELOP - WE NEED RESULTS NOW. As for the 'no money' argument (convieniently used by many in our heirarchy - in the boardroom and on here) - Why do we have a larger Coaching team than last year? Why did we sign Schneiderlin if we were potless? How did we afford to sign Pulis, Gasmi and the loanees???? How much are our PLC and Football Chairmen being paid?
  21. Me thinks that Mikey should therefore take the opportunity in his programme notes to let the masses know why he won't be there.... No showing the fans' forum AND the AGM of the PLC??? Hardly the actions of a responsible Board Member and Football Chairman is it? Oh, OB, I think you'll find there's more than just a couple of shareholders that disapprove of Lowe and Wilde - they may like to think that the more 'vocal' will be highlighted (as they were last year) - but you don't have to stand up and raise questions to get your point across.
  22. The majority of fans stop believing the bull PR about the 'young players needing time and experience' - and come to the overall conclusion that the majority of our squad just aren't even CCC standard? Which, in turn shows that in fact the Academy isn't that prolific after all - as the original aim was to produce players that were capable of playing in the Prem. For example, take Surman out of the equation, and what supposed 'selling assets' from the Academy do we have left?? Lallana? (not ready) McGoldrick (FFS League 1 standard) - and we bought him Rupert - Notts C developed him. Gillett - has numerous L1 loans under his belt, but no offers... James - not at RB... Mills - he's surely only 12 years old? Remove the loanees and we have VERY little depth in the squad, and with a fire sale seemingly planned for January...Lowe and Wilde's business plan is as transparent as tracing paper. I may be the only one thinking this now, but TBF we are no longer treading water. Without Kelvin in goal we would be miles adrift NOW.
  23. Or that he's decided to drop a bomb at Rupert's feet and doesn't want to get caught up in the smoke?? 16% voting could make a difference...
  24. Just been thinking about this, and the AGM could prove to be VERY interesting. Surely at this point in time the following could happen: 1. Lowe and Associates could combine voting to remove Wilde (est holding 27%?) 2. Wilde could join with Crouch to remove Lowe etc (est holding 26%) There could well be fireworks - if Wilde seriously is not getting on with Rupert or, is not happy with the 'role' he has been given - could he turn again? Would Leon have anything to do with Wilde if the aim was to remove Rupert again? COULD THIS WHOLE BLOODY MESS BE BACK TO SQUARE ONE? I think that the Lowe/Wilde axis is very shaky, and there could be blood on the carpet come Xmas.. Any ideas? 'It'll be lonely this Xmas, without you to rule.......'
