'Many thanks for your email the points of which have been noted. The Football League is actively looking into the situation to obtain the information we need. We need to ensure that the decision is the right one and one that is able to withstand scrutiny therefore only when we have this information will we be able to make a decision with regards to a points deduction. The regulations that were in place when Southampton FC was deducted 10 points are different to those that are in place now. The current regulation relating to this can be found at 12.3 of our regulations available on the website here: http://www.football-league.co.uk/regulations/20110629/section-3-the-league_2293633_2125717 Trading whilst insolvent is a matter of company law and for the directors of the club to determine how to proceed. The Football League are competition administrators and do not administer the club. That said any embargo we may place on a club has to operate in such a way that the club can field a team of players and the signing of Etuhu was linked to the transfer out of another player resulting in a significant cost saving whilst helping the club maintain a squad capable of fulfilling its fixtures. Thank you for contacting The Football League.'

Spot mine if it gets posted.... HA

Why the fook should they be allowed to bring back those two from West Brom if they haven't paid their players under contract? Dirty, thieving, cheating, fishy, insolvent b@stards.
-
Geezer on Solent (Barry Dewing) just saying there's a split between the fans...haha Supporters Trust says although the 'pack out the park' is a valid idea, they understand and support those who choose not to go. Skate with his head screwed on though - he GETS it.
-
'Out of his remit' or 'Trying to save the club' - you decide. Sounds like it's Handy Andy with his head screwed on, with Lumpitt rocking back and forth on a chair in the corner (avoiding the elephant in the room).

Or.... Chris Lewis Here's an idea, could #Pompey sell the naming rights of Fratton Park to raise the money? Or would BC have control over that? 6 minutes ago via Mobile Web
-
Haha From Twitter...the delusion continues. Mike Hall @PfcBrad @bobbeech @Talkbet NEVER been a better time to buy Pompey, cheap and all land available cheap. Never been less wanting to though.
-
Being sneaky - I looked at a convo between Alan Nixon from the Mirror earlier on Twitter. Turns out Ipswich wanted two Pompey players, then came back in for another (presumably Kitson) - Andronikou agreed the deal but it was vetoed by the 'board' - I assume that means Lembitt. Dodgy ground...and I don't mean Nottarf Krap - just shows that Andronikou is TRYING to do something though...
-
Are we missing something here? One place runs through the prosecutions evidence - Monaco. In prior investigations into Amdy Faye's transfer to Poopey, other parties involved included his agent, Willie McKay. Who is based...(or was based) in Monaco. Coincidence?

Watch...and well...make your own minds up. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16794206.stm?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

You wait until Bompey fans see his 'special things'..

Sarah Gomme from ITV tweeted that Adkins has been seen at Soton Airport (obvs buying a coffee) - heading to Glasgow???
-
Apparently according to the Pompey Trust it's 'Pack the Park' this weekend. Insert your own jokes....
-
Appy about to be on Solent... 'Doesn't know if he'll have to sell players' Haha...if he doesn't know now, he never will. Happy Appy - Mr Mushroom of Nottarf Krap.

Bit surprised that this was moved from the Saints Board TBF - it involves an issue which was rumoured to be one potential reason for Pards leaving us - and it was tweeted on Twitter by a Saints employee...

Interestingly earlier Kris Temple said something along the lines of 'well perhaps the FA transfer rules could be relaxed a little so Pompey could sell a few players' THANKFULLY someone texted in to tell him what a stupid precedent that would set, and that it's unfair on other clubs if others can't deal with their finances. They're all making excuses for them again. Pompey CHOSE 'quality over quantity' last season. Pompey CHOSE to buy more mercenaries under Redknapp rather than invest in infastructure. Pompey CHOSE to pay the players instead of HMRC last month. No more of this 'fookin bleating from TCWTB on Solent about 'somebody save us'. No John, Skates need saving..just from themselves.

Self Certification mortgages created the chaos in the financial markets - as limp wristed regulation by the FSA allowed lenders (and individuals) to go mad. Ironic really - it's the same with the FAPPT and the FA.
-
Haha...one Skate has emailed in wanting 50% of the club be passed to the fans... Delusional.

Oh look! A response from the Football League following.... 'With the news released this morning that Portsmouth FC owes HMRC £1.6M - how can you continue to allow them to trade players? The company is clearly insolvent. They also should be deducted 10 points, on the same basis as Southampton FC were when they entered administration - you gave SFC a 10 point deduction after 21 days - the Portsmouth case is running to 52 days already. Why has nothing been done? It's a shameful situation for the football authorities - and football.' AND What more evidence do you need to show that they are trading insolvently - 1 minute in. http://audioboo.fm/boos/632962-part-1-with-portsmouth-chief-exec-david-lampitt-following-latest-off-the-pitch-speculation Act now. Portsmouth are making a mockery of football. Kind regards, I received.... Thank you for your email. We note your comments and we hope to provide a full response in due course. Thank you for contacting The Football League. Kind Regards Amanda

I have a theory. We don't know about the outcome of Storrie's case. Storrie also, has not been called as a witness for the prosecution. Also, we have heard of almost NO cross examination or questioning of Milan's part in this. The defence starts next week. Now, do you think that realistically there will be a different outcome between the two cases? (Storrie & Mandaric/Arry)? I don't. Finger in the air time but I reckon Storrie got found not guilty, and expect the same for the other two. It just seems very dodgy that Milan's hardly had a mention - unless his evidence and cross examination was in the previous case (which I think he was named on)..

More comedy gold from Del..sorry Arry.. Redknapp also told police that when at Portsmouth he was earning 35-40 thousand pounds a week 1 minute ago Favorite Retweet Reply Pearcesport James Pearce Redknapp "Looking back on it I should have told Malcolm (accountant) but I didn't do it purposefully. I thought there was no tax to pay" 1 minute ago Pearcesport James Pearce Redknapp talking about his family "We're givers not takers" 2 minutes ago Pearcesport James Pearce Redknapp to police "I'd rather give you 100 grand than nick few quid off you. I've golf day tomorrow. I give £10,000 to golf day every year" 2 minutes ago Pearcesport James Pearce Redknapp to police "I don't fiddle anybody. I pay my taxes. I've been in football all my life. I've paid fortunes in income tax" 10 minutes ago So, apparently Harry's family are 'givers not takers' - bet Louise is chuffed.
