Admin - Watch Rupert find Investors then...
Channon's Sideburns replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
SB, I hope you take 10 secs of your time to re-read my post. I stated that they would appear once Admin was put into place, therefore allowing Messrs Lowe and Wilde to remain in charge sans debts.. You seem to conveniently forget that Leon Crouch was pressing the Wilde Execs to implement a Plan B? Who was proposing to close the corners in the first place? Who opposed the signing of Euell by the WILDE Execs? Leon. Well, I hope it's sunny in your Ivory Lowe Tower - remember that in paragraph 2 when you quote Barclays, you have probably in fact released a clue as to Rupert's plan all along. You may think it is conspiracy theory, I think that it's all part of a business plan, but by two not-so-successful businessmen. Next time you think he's acting in the best interests of the shareholders, remember his 'performance' at the AGM. You seem to explain his aims quite succinctly, do you know him??? -
August 2009 - The aftermath of relegation and administration
Channon's Sideburns replied to Mole's topic in The Saints
Cheers Bones... I actually had high hopes for this season (after all we were all mainly calling for a squad cull last season anyway), but unfortunately reality has bitten over the last few months. We probably needed to bring in 4-5 experienced players. The sheer presence of RL has damaged this club NO END. -

Where the future of this once great club is concerned, yes. Same scenario as the TV bud, if you don't like the channel you look at something else. My club is being run into the ground. -

Oh how you've cheered me up no end. The credit crunch is biting. I've been made redundant for the first time in my working life. Saints are in freefall with egotistical maniacs in charge up top. And individuals like yourself still blindly walk along thinking that we are staying up!!! Priceless. Thanks for making me laugh.....which PR firm are you in? -

Alps, interested in your views on what you think is going to happen - I know you get given stick on here sometimes....but history has shown you're rarely off the mark with your observations.... -

Hmmm..you'd hope so wouldn't you. Unfortunately as the credit crunch has proved the City is full of LOWElifes.... -
My view is that once Admin arrives we will see Rupert suddenly find investors....when the REAL gains are there to be found. David Ross anyone? Must have time on his hands now.. Tom Scott? Jersey Businessman linked a while back Lord Marland? Scooby???! (LOL) Sundance Double crossing so and so....let's just hope he stitches Wilde up in the process as payback. At least we'd get some satisfaction after he stitched US up.

And in Charlie's post... PLEASE SEE ABOVE FOR THE REASONING OF LOWE AND WILDE'S RETURN. It's not to save the club, it is to pick it up after being in pole position. Watch Rupert suddenly find investors when the timing is right - what is his buddy David Ross doing now after his issues at Carphone Warehouse??? -
what is lowe getting out of being here?
Channon's Sideburns replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
FC, appreciate your piece on this, however I think for many fans who declare that they want Lowe out, they are intelligent to know that there may not be some easily identifiable replacements.... However, my biggest gripe about the real Lowe Apologists (I call them deluded!!) on here and on the Echo (Derek from Holbury etc) is that they say he is the best option - JUST BECAUSE THEY KNOW OF NO ALTERNATIVE!! They believe everything the OS says, everything the Echo has been posted...regardless of Lowe's history. I just wish more of them would open their minds a little and log on here once in a while. -
OK everyone, you now know who you are protecting - onto Room 2 for the issue of your Green Jackets.

So herein lies Rupert's first lesson in football management. Bit like shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted, but here goes... Dear Rupey, We all appreciate the lovely idyllic view you have on how we will gain footballing success. However, it has been proven over many years and decades that unless you are Man U, and in the top division with loads of money in the bank.... 'You won't win anything with Kids' However, please do not misconstrue (thought you'd like that word) my observation, you can win things however with the right blend of youthful exuberance and wily experience. Let me make the point blindingly obvious to you by quoting examples..... Steve Moran (you probably won't know him as he was prior to 1997 but ask Duncan) - was an exceptional young forward - an 80's DMcG if you like (he wishes). SM was at his best, when he played alongside, Mike Channon and Frank Worthington. Mike Channon, played very well alongside Big Ron Davies, as did young Martin Chivers. Steve Williams (from the 70's and 80's - remember that Rupey, all braces and poncy attitude?) - blossomed playing alongside the much missed Alan Ball. Tim Flowers - blossomed under the guidance of old hands like Peter Shilton and John Burridge. And outside of Saints.....WAYNE ROONEY. What did David Moyes do when an emerging WR came blasting onto the footy stage at age 16????? He played him alongside Duncan Ferguson. You see Rupey Baby, it's simple. If you want to bring these young players, such as your main man McGoldrick, he needs players like Stern John alongside him. Or - DEAN WINDASS - Yes I know he could be Dave's Dad, but you get my point. Oh sorry, you don't get mine or anyone's point. A FOOL WALKS AROUND WITH HIS EYES AND EARS CLOSED. Best wishes, hope you go soon. Yours in amateur advice (thought I'd drop to your level) Channon's Sideburns Aged 34 but old enough to remember when this club had a beating heart.

More planned by those in current charge so that they can appoint the Administrators of their choice, and therefore Pole Position for the purchase of the remnants... B@stards...have thought this all along.
-
Hmmm would likely be a mention of Allen by the Lowe Camp just to divert attention...we all know full well that this forum would approach meltdown....!

On Solent tonight, they asked for people to ring in with 4 Dinner Guests (living or dead) for a dinner party that you would hold at your home. This was linked to the US Presidents having a meal at the White House. So, having contributed the following...and 1st to be read out...(result!!)...if you could invite 4 people (preferably Saints or footy related, past or present) who would it be?? I nominated: Rupey Baby Lord Lucan (sorry, Mike Wilde) Roman Abramovich Vinny Jones. Now, the premise of my dinner party was that both Rupey Baby and Lord Lucan had to agree to sell their shares to Roman Abramovich, with Vinny being the all important guest who stood over the two fools to make sure that they sold!

Sorry Adrian, you are SOOOOO wrong on this one. Lowe is better than Jordan because of time spent in the Prem?? I need to point out that the majority of Saints' 27 years in the top flight were BEFORE LOWE ARRIVED ON HIS CHARIOT. I nearly ****ed myself when you reckon Lowe is better at spending money!!!! - Hmm...Delgado?? It's nothing to do with league position, you've missed the point. It's all to do with Lowe and his ATTITUDE. It's not a class issue....because Lowe HAS NO CLASS.

Rudi: Too many youngsters playing and I want away
Channon's Sideburns replied to Big Ron fan's topic in The Saints
Well, I posted on earlier Rudi threads in the summer that he has been a letdown (mind you, he didn't ask to be bought for 1.7M did he???)...but... WELL DONE RUDI - TRUE SAINT FOR ME FROM NOW ON. All public declarations showing the contempt being shown by the inept, unprofessional, illogical, pompous, irrational, egotistical dickheads in charge is only to be welcomed. Rudi, I wish you well on your future endeavours, wherever that may be. One thing though, before you go, please kindly kick Rupert in the ****** for me. Ta x -
Strangely very out of date (news items on developments 'to be completed in 2007') - apparently it's undergoing maintenance at present........ahem..... http://www.merliongroup.co.uk/ You'd think that they could spellcheck 'therfore' though wouldn't you????? Hehehehe...

Came across the article written by Simon Jordan (Palace Chairman) regarding the hostility towards Rupey Baby before our 'saviour' Mikey 'Lord Lucan' Wilde gave us our club back..... Then gave it back again...... Never mind...what's done is done - but read Jordan's words and tell me you can't see that although he was new to Football as well when he took over at Palace, he at least UNDERSTANDS HIS 'CUSTOMERS'..... Rupey or your Butler, read and learn how to run a football club whilst keeping the fans happy... http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2006/feb/05/sport.comment1

Indeed, in fact he has now been given the following accolade by his latest Professional Organisation.... Knighted Nobleman Of Britain.... or K.N.O.B for short

Last I heard Wilde-one was spotted in Mustique sipping ****tails with Lord Lucan and Elvis whilst riding Shergar...it was reported by Chris Pea**** (where did he go? SGH I heard!!) Let's face it, I don't think Elvis is up for a takeover, but I guess it justifies the position. In fact, I've bought Mikey Wikey a Desk Diary for 2009 so he can't miss these important dates... 1. Wife's Birthday 2. Wedding Anniversary 3. Companies House Deadlines 4. Saints Home Games 5. Saints Fan Forum 6. SLH PLC AGM.

Ricky Lambert - Bring Him IN NOW!!
Channon's Sideburns replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
Hmmmm let's think...with limited appearances??? SAM VOKES - Bournemouth to Wolves. Has impressed so far - would be streets ahead of McGoldrick - if someone only had their eyes open. -
Bristol Rovers CF - remember, the one who put us out last season..... Has scored 18 GOALS IN 26 GAMES!!!! Slightly better than McGoalDrought....

I think Nick it was because everyone wanted to support the team and give the best chance possible. Don't worry there will be a truck load of abuse along shortly - I just hope it's delivered in the most public, professional way so that the sycophantic Lowe Fringe can't dress it up as being a minority yobbish shout. I'm not a lunatic, and I have no fringe.
