I think the issue is that when Poortvliet was unveiled, it was an all singing, all dancing Rupert-led Press Conference...and then we asked - why not the Football Chairman??? Now, as Pt2 of the experiment comes into play, nothing. I think the general gist is that Rupert needs to make his mind up about what he wants to be SEEN to be doing. Rupert's absence will probably be pre-arranged months ago...but you would expect the Football Chairman to step in.... However this is Wilde, more elusive than Lord Lucan, Shergar and Elvis all mixed in a food blender... If Rupert wants to be the 'face' of the club, it's very simple. Tell Mike Wilde to spin on it...

The relevance of Killer's injury is that the severity of it was never put across. A tweak on the Achilles is sooooo different to a torn one. Just don't see why it is so hush-hush over here (OS,Echo etc) but back in Sweden it is mentioned freely. I agree with Killer's character - let's just hope he tells that Van Der Waals guy to FO.
