But what if Aviva accepted a settlement of around £10m? Good trade then...Linden bought the old Hospital Site in Lymington for that figure, and stand to make another £10M once all are sold (and they are selling well). Could be a good deal for someone... (hmmmm Mikey?)

A desperate man makes desperate comments. Rupert really doesn't know when to give up or shut up does he? HTH does he get these positions in firms??? Guy Askham can't be on the board of every company can he? Second Colin's comments...do feel though that Barclays Staff need not worry - the best thing for Saints fans to do is close their accounts with them instead - don't harass innocent workers.
-
Rupert - the Bare Ruddy Faced Cheek of it All and No, I wouldn't buy a copy..but would go to a signing to tell him to his face what I thought of him.
-
I'm surprised that Rupey turned these suitors down.....hehehe
-
More like 'Kinhard' in our present situation...!
-
You liked what you wrote so much that you posted it twice?? Spent the evening with Messrs McMenemy and Crouch in Lymington last night, very entertaining speech by Lawrie. Gave his time for free for the fundraiser.... Asked him his thoughts ... 'It's worse than we thought' Says it all - can of worms has been opened.
-
One other cost to bear in mind is whether the current mortgage arrangement is tied-in to a particular deal - if so, exit penalties may apply, which would then be added to the debt. Assuming of course that the debt isn't officially 'written off' - no point in Aviva adding on say 2% to the loan if it won't get repaid.
-
Rupey didn't tell him foook all did he?? Hahaha...let's 'Go Wilde' eh?? Thanks for nothing.

Did The Debt Increase In The Lowe and Wilde Year Then?
Channon's Sideburns replied to St Marco's topic in The Saints
I posted this on an earlier thread..but just think... 5,000 stayaways x £25 = £125,000 If Lowe hadn't come back that £110k over our overdraft may never have happened... Hypothetical nonsense I know, but who knows?? -
'Na na na na nana na nah....heeeyyyy..Goodbye' Swivel on that muvva foooker...

Wilde and Lowe have just been escorted from the premises

Hope that red post hits him squarely on the bollix...bye bye **** -
FFS...we are in meltdown, and the station that claims to be No1 for Sport in the South is talking ******* acting with some old bint. Get your priorities right - you reading this Adam Blackmore - kick some ar$e over this!!!
-
Amen to that - Wilde is only surpassed by Askham in terms of ar$edom.
-
So £110k was the figure that pushed Barclays over...pathetic. Says everything about UK Banks to be honest. Anyway...just done a simple calculation - 5,000 stayaways x £25 per ticket = £125,000. Now, if Lowe would have walked 8 weeks ago and the stayaways returned, could it all have been different???
-
Yes..time to shut up. So the protests never happened? So we never realised we had no money when our Youth Team was suddenly the First Team? So when Pearson was not retained because we couldn't 'afford him' it was never about us having no money. Today is not a surprise - we've been waiting for this development since Lowe and Wilde came back - it's what they came back for, to hold the keys when we went under... Only to buy back and 'secure their investment'.
-
I'm under the table and about to punch all of them in the booolllox, one by one, very hard.
-
They've just had Illingsworth on Solent...that didn't take long. Stated the obvious (to us on here at least) regarding the club's problems, urging all to attend on Sat. Only if Lowe and Wilde resign today for this mess Nick..
-
Right all, lads and lasses.. Let's get this situation to our own advantage - everyone please go out and spend £1 on a lottery ticket for tonight's draw... Who knows? One of us could win enough to take the club over - surely it's worth a go? I'm doing it - at least it'll make me feel better until I bump into Guy Askham and let his tyres down...!!
-
I bet the foookers are going to try. This is their end game.
-
I wonder if it will be announced after the PLC meeting that the FC has been sold to a certain individual linked to Messrs Lowe and Wilde then...?
-
Well guys no amount of pontificating about WHO is to blame is going to change anything - they are all accountable. We are where we are now, and my only hope is that once all the dust settles is that we are free of all of them, with a completely new board of directors under a Ltd Company format. That is the best we can hope for.

James Scrowcroft turns down loan to saints
Channon's Sideburns replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
I reckon Tesco Clubcard points might have swung it. -
Wonder whether Askham is assessing his losses this morning? Serves him right - what a vile little man.
-
Nick, all of the jokers that have been involved should NEVER be forgiven, regardless of what happens next. Askham deserves the most contempt - the vile little man who started all of this crap and who gave Lowe the support he needed to return. History will always show that Lowe had some success at least - what did Askham ever bring to the club??? Foooook all. And Ian Branfoot.
-
Good morning Guy, Well your boy has done well hasn't he? Are you still proud to have supported him? Glad that he has overseen the decline that will make your shares worthless? What goes around comes around. You deserve nothing.
