  1. Think about it this way, if Bertrand gets sent off after 10 minutes and Vestigaard plays as badly as he did that night we will win easily...!
  2. Sadly, I'd take it.
  3. "Where are you Delia, let's be 'aving you" roared the crowd....!
  4. Probably not Whelk, probably not.....
  5. Sadly not. I get your point, but we are much closer to Norwich’s level, which is highly worrying.
  6. But good enough to beat us. So what does that make us?
  7. I really don't want to get into an argument about it, but imho it really makes a mockery of supposed 'professional' sports. 20 nil, ffs.
  8. Sky news actually have some woman in the studio following the match and updating everytime they score. She's talking more than Jules..! Absolutely pointless.
  9. I really want to be positive and say that we will win, but I just don't see it. They have been in a bit of a slump lately, but have bounced back with that result against Watford - when was the last time we scored 4 goals in a game, yonks ago. How many games would it actually take our strike force to score four goals - loads. My heart says we are going to win easily 3 or 4 nil, but my head says that my heart knows naff all and we are about to get another stuffing. So bad is the situation that I'd probably rip your arm off for a point. Please, please, please prove me wrong.
  10. Luckily? Why, are you happy with mediocrity and barely competing? They may not be bothered about a loss to Liverpool, but they should be bothered about performance. Will they have been bothered about a loss at lowly Norwich, or will that have simply been swept under the carpet?
  11. Decent point. The Norwich result is the one that we will rue, not todays.
  12. Meh it was a free hit, before the game I said if we could get out with a 3 nil loss I'd take it, so it was close. 3 up front at Anfield, what on earth was he thinking, this is a team that scores goals for fun. We needed more in midfield to try and stay in the game longer, as it was it was all over by half time. Look on the bright side, it's another early night for me, no need to wait for MOTD tonight, thinking about it I rarely watch it these days..!
  13. I'm not sure that we are even that to be honest. At least the make up the numbers clubs compete and give a decent account of themselves. We are pretty much in the 'relegation fodder' league now. Just gotta hope to win that league.
  14. I tend to agree to a certain degree, but the problem is, we play well but don't score, first half on Saturday was a case in point - should've been more than one up. Arguably we should've beaten Chelsea in the cup - but we just didn't take our chances. I don't think our performances are bad, but we lack goals and we are always likely to concede due to stupid mistakes.
  15. Struggling to see where we get 3 points if I'm honest.
  16. My worry as well. I'm struggling to see which teams we will pick up points from, I just don't think we have the fire power to get us enough goals if we need to score more than one to win. Mid table we may be at the moment, but I think our momentum is about to go south very quickly. We threw 3 very important points away yesterday.
  17. Ummm having a great game - only shipped 4 so far with about 15 to play. An improving Arsenal getting their asses handed to them by a rampant Liverpool - I can hardly wait for next week...!
  18. Crap, woeful, shyte. Ruined my bloody weekend.
  19. No, I won't lose any sleep over this one either. When we lose the next 4 or 5 though, this one will probably come back to haunt us.
  20. I know it's not funny but I have to laugh at us when we play like that. I mean, what on earth is everybody thinking - we are losing, with 5 minutes to play and the way we knock it about around the back you would think that we are three up. That was woeful - 3 points (that we can barely afford) dropped. You can have all the fancy possession that you want - but only one stat counts in this game, and we really struggle to register where it matters. Didn't see the first goal, but I'm assuming it was soft and my sister could've saved the second one, two average keepers is costing us. Looking at the next games - not sure where the points will be coming from - getting ready for yet another long run with no wins.
  21. With the obvious expertise that some members of the forum are able to bring to this thread I have found it very interesting from the off. As somebody who used to fly regularly for work reasons on commercial aircraft I never really felt uncomfortable or particularly worried about bad practice or poor service levels. Obviously I was flying with main commercial carriers and it all seemed pretty routine. However, given the raft of breaches that have been uncovered since this particular incident I just wonder how prevalent these offences are? Had this aircraft not crashed, the flight had been successful, non of the breaches would've come to light - life would've just gone on. So just how much of this 'cutting corners' is 'the norm' and how often does it actually happen?
  22. Long way to go to the gym....!
  23. I want him to fail. Not for any particular malicious reasons, but with Newcastle's new found riches, West Hams recent investment, and now Gerrard at Villa, that's potentially 3 teams that are normally in our 'league' that have got a massive boost, and that potentially drives us towards the inevitable relegation places - if not this season then in seasons to come. Got a lot of respect for what Gerrard achieved in the game, but hope that this turns sour pretty damn quickly.
  24. Makes sense, international break, time to get new person in.
  25. Gotta love the sky melt down every time United lose a game. Comedy gold..
