I think we are firmly in the relegation league now, problem is the players will probably not realise the extent of the problem until matchday 30 odd. I agree, Newcastle could well rally and spend their way out of trouble which leaves us, Watford and Burnley. Sean Dyche always seems to find a way to get safe, so it's going to be a real battle. The bottom line is we are pretty crap and if we don't go this season it's highly likely we go the next. We are only delaying the inevitable.

If we collapse in the second half of this season as badly as we did last season, we are as good as down anyway. We built a great base last season and then completely imploded, and limped over the line. This season our base is all sand, there's no cement in this team - we're sinking fast.

No team is going to be too bothered about coming to St Marys this season, most will have marked it down as a potential 3 points and Brighton will be no different. We really need the points to consolidate in mid table, but the best I can see us getting is the draw and slipping further into the mire. 1 - 1 if luck is on our side, otherwise another home loss.
