I can't get at all optimistic about this one. Whenever anybody says Everton at home to me all I can see is Peter Crouch shooting lamely at the goalkeeper with minutes to go, and then the inevitable happens. It's like a bad, bad dream. Saints 1 Everton 2.

Not too sure of that to be quite honest. People are pissed off at the culmination of the season up to now - drawing with Ipswich in the last minute, horrendous display away at Bournemouth, last week at home to Leicester - they are the games that are killing us. Nobody is bothered about losing today at City - I never even looked at the score until half an hour ago - it was a given.

Yep, every one you pass, you're going to need to be well inebriated in order to endure this one...!

I reckon this'll be the result that firmly nails us to the bottom of the Premiere League this season. Wolves won't beat Brighton but they won't get the drubbing that we're going to get. Bottom of the league come 5 o'clock Saturday, then two massive games before going to Anfield for another bumming.

Of course they are, we are their guaranteed 6 points. To be fair we are insignificant to the top teams which normally would not necessarily be a problem. But we're easy meat for the rest of the league as well, most punters have us already relegated, and it's hard to argue against them. The players are not very good, and the manager only has one way of playing that was sussed after the first 3 games, difficult conundrum.

To be fair all of our games have been 'charity games', we literally give opponents goals and points on a weekly basis. Every single game.

Yes, yes, but you've conveniently left out our possession stats that we'll all be able to wax lyrical about as we are being derided by supporters of other teams..!

Can't see us being anywhere near as competitive in the Championship next year, the very little quality we have will go, they owe us nothing. This club is on the 'Derby' and 'Sunderland' trail - going through the Championship and languishing in league one for a while. We are a complete and utter mess right now, turning it around is not going to be an easy task.

No chance that Moyes or Potter are going to gamble their reputations on this pile of dung. Better opportunities will come for them this season.

Completely agree. The real bottom line is that probably 15 or 16 teams are just making up the numbers with absolutely no prospect of winning anything. Would've loved to see the top 6 knob off to a euro league, it would've leveled the playing field, but essentially the Prem is a very long way from competitive anymore.

Sadly I agree. We are so bad the only goal I see for us this season is not picking up yet more embarrassing unwanted premiere league 'records'. From what we've shown so far this season we are firmly on the Derby County track, and the longer the season goes on the more we look like dropping through multiple leagues. The players are not good enough and neither is the manager, gaining any self respect this season is going to be very, very difficult.

Alex Crook was on Talksport a couple of days ago saying that the club would probably stick with RM and the reason that we are going down is because of the lack of quality in the squad. He also said that our recruitment had been awful for a good couple of years, hard to argue with him really.

Couldn't agree more, 9 hours of football and none of our 'strikers' have scored yet, they don't even look like they are going to score. Much respect to all of the ST holders - it's gonna be a long cold winter.
