Good constructive is good Rich, bad constructive is, errr bad. Admire them for trying to rally more fans into SMS, but I really don't think the pro or anti Lowes, will change their stance on whether they support or not, even if Crouch joined the party. As for the Trust members and Council members overseeing the board - errr I think that is a non - starter and would achieve naff all even if passed.
-
Ummmm that was the impression that I got as well - and the guys advocating this would also like a non exec position as well - to do what, act as the referee once the fight broke out...?? Bizaar...!
-
So, have we therefore established that any reference to fornication with livestock found freely roaming in the valleys around the green, green grass of home is definately not open to any racial connotations whatsoever and maybe freely deliberated about at SMS?

Sorry - get over what exactly...???? Naaah joking - honestly...!! Dooooh - he probably won't go again now...!!

Errr your decision mate - not mine (ours).

In that case you have answered your own question and decided the best course of action.

Mary Corbett felt "threatened" and "physically intimidated" by Lowe

Hence we go full circle. 'That is what you get if you pay peanuts....!' -
Ummm good point JFP - but let's be honest we have the right to protest at any time that we wish - pre season, wtf cares...!!! Actually though - when I said 'we' on my last thread I actually meant the last board members or in particular LC. Apologies for any confusion caused. BTW pre-season protests - could be a good idea for practicing marching & protesting prior to the real protesting during the season - if you get my drift..!!!

Sorry I would disagree with you there mate - I don't see how you can count Crouches actions as responsible & then blame Lowe for offloading a Manager that was out of contract and who he did not want in charge. You cite the fact that LC did it for financial reasons - yet I could probably point you to 100's of posts on here saying that NP would of cost nowhere near the Dutch Duos / Trios wagebill. I don't like the fact that he got rid of NP - but let's be honest - we made it easy for him to do just that.

Nick - we all know that 'business' in football is not particularly done, how shall we say, 'decently'. I think though, that most involved in this business are the first to accept this. I really don't think that we did too much wrong to be honest.
-
Sorry - but I'm probably not as intelligent as you - I don't have a clue - please feel free to enlighten me. BTW - I'm not so sure that he lied personally to me - as I said, I don't really think that SFC has exclusivity on doing business in such a manner - I really don't.

Pros: Can get match updates anywhere in the world with internet access. Instant access to news / sports reports. Can sometimes watch streamed matches live / free. Can debate issues from own home with large forum of people worldwide (the pub scenario is better though..!) Cons: Most forum information is of very dubious reliability and should be treated thus (although 'pub info' is probably much the same). Some is a little distasteful too (see the current MC thread). The fight that you get into at the pub is just as easily found on the internet - maybe even easier. If your opinion goes wide of the concensous of opinion you will probably be instantly labelled. It costs £5 annually for complete freedom of speech here...! (Was only joking with that one Ponty - honest)

I have to say that I agree. No matter what you think of the current managerial set up, many on here are once again just using it as a cane to beat Lowe with. NP's contract had been fulfilled, and was, rightly or wrongly, terminated. I wouldn't argue the fact that perhaps other candidates had been lined up - tapped up even. But hey - is that exclusive to SFC, or do all clubs do that sort of thing...??? Yes I would rather have NP right now - but those beating Lowe would do well to ask LC why he never got NP to sign a 5 year deal. Had he done so then perhaps money would have been the reason to keep him - Lowe wouldn't have been able to afford to pay him off.

Actually your not - but if they are half as professionally produced as a certain 'Blueprint for Success' paper that was also posted, then they were probably drafted by a GCSE grade F student. -
Thanks for your response, but again I really fail to see what all the fuss is about. You yourself admit that most is 3rd party information, for which you were seeking further clarification. Let's be honest here - if anything of any substance happened in SMS involving a member of the SDE do we not think that the first place it would appear would be on their back (or front for that matter) pages - especially if the reporter thought that he had been wronged in any way. Professional sport is a cut throat business, people can be quite ruthless in order to get to the fore. I really don't think that a quick spat in the corporate box on matchday is really going to make too many people loose too much sleep.

Exactly - my recollection of events as well. And to be fair since the Coventry takeover they have faired little better than ourselves - let alone set the world on fire. -

Nothing more than the harsh reality of life. Although it will probably not suite most of the agendas here - I would actually prefer that Lowe adopts this demenour when it is appropriate. Most successful business people probably have that mean streak in them - used properly, I believe it to be more than acceptable. -

Good to see that somebody is switched to 'panaramic view' when all else appear to be using the 'blinkered' switch.... -
Irrespective of whether true or not - and notwithstanding those who wish to label me a Lowe Luvvie again - given the (alleged) facts, are we not in danger of turning a molehill into something more formidable. And over what, two people having, what at best would appear to be, a heated disagreement. I understand that it's good fun to dig Lowe at every opportunity, but it is just getting a little boring and mundain. I would really like to know just how much the Echo invests in the club too - must be getting on for what - eerrr - nothing. At the moment, as I see it, two adults had a disagreement, a sharp exchange of words and probably a short term falling out. Big deal.

Exactly - hardly rocket science is it, shouldn't really take too many Masters Degrees in order to work it out...!!!
-
Took a long time coming, but my it's sweet when it does - lets just hope that this is not a false dawn, but the beginning of our escape from relegation.
-
Should be a sell out....!

Didn't Rod let us train on his football pitch at his gaff not so long ago - he obviously has a soft spot for us, must have a few bob going spare - sounds like the perfect buyer to me...!!!
-
Do you know that he actually doesn't do this after the march..???
