  1. Just seen this also, not good! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/charlton_athletic/7744263.stm
  2. Get in, can't help but feel great. Reading fans are just soooooooo arrogant. No singing untill they scored and when they started singing, ''score in a minute, were guna score in a minute'' I really wanted the lads to hold out to show the tossers what for. Thought everyone played well, the ball just sticks to Lallana, he has such ability. Perry has added needed know how too. Oh yeah and fair play to BWP. Get In!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. What a pile of sh1t. Can't believe how poor it has been made. Everything is so complicated and why?? I can't see why you should have to download steam, enters code etc. It should be install and play, but noooo. Not impressed.

    Preston

Will be my first trip to Preston, hoping that it doesn't put me off for life!
  5. Could anyone, ever see Rupert coming out and being this open and honest?? LOL@pompey too http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/articles/openletterfromthechairmandaniellevy261008.html
  6. What A Save! :-o
  7. I also feel he would be a very good player for us if available. He has experience, that alone is what we need right now.
  8. If were to keep the 4-2-3-1 it HAS to be with Stern playing central striker, Lallana behind him, skacel on the left, Thomson on the right. BWP and Dyer and useless at football and robbing people. Mcgoldrick won't get dropped, we all know he won't but he should because he isn't up to it either unfortunately.
  9. Edit, not sure if the team is right yet!
  10. Nice to see James getting a go in midfield, he hasn't been great this season but then he's not a full back. I still think it's a silly decision to play Killer, why not give him 3 more days rest and just drop Wotton back into CB and play James holding?
  11. I hope he never plays for us again, he was awful saturday. I haven't seen someone play that badly for a long time. He had all last season and bits of the season before and yet he looked like the youngest, most inexperienced player on the pitch! Didn't have a clue.
  12. Do some people honestly feel it was that bad? He caught him late and it was rash. It wasn't malicious and it certainly wasn't denying a goal scoring opportunity. Yellow for me.
  13. England will never move forwards with rooney and lampard playing imo. Lampard is as much use as Jermaine ever was and rooney is less lethal than BWP! But hey they'll probably win tonight, one game and we'll be world beaters again.
  14. Anyone know if training will still be open to the public tomorrow even though there has been a reserve game tonight? Am looking to go down there, but don't want to get there and find out it's closed.
  15. Some people need to have a look at themselves in the mirror!! One poor performance, where clearly nothing was going to go right and suddenly everyone is ****. Gillett was very poor, but having seen all our other games this season, it was clearly an off day, to say he was out of his depth is just wrong. In the long run this could turn out to be a good defeat if there ever was one. It might just let the young lads know that nice football will get them so far but we have to have a plan B when the going gets tough. We've got 2 weeks to get things sorted now and I am certainly not giving up on the lads just yet. COYR!!
  16. Shame to see such a good player go for such a small profit in football terms, but if as Jan said the player asked for the move when stoke came in then it's best to get rid asap and only have the players who want to be here.
  17. Was it only me that thought Wotton was complete crap when he came on saturday?? You've given the lads one league game and have then decided to question whether they should all be playing. I didn't see many complaints after the game against WHU and it was the same side as saturday. Give them 10 games, then we'll see.
  18. Got to Cardiff about 1:30 and me and 7 others including a mate who's from up there and was in the Cardiff end, went to the Ninian pub. We stayed out the back and were just having a quiet drink until one gobby man of no more than 25 started mouthing us off. At this point my Cardiff mate pointed out we were with him, but he wouldn't listen and as we went to leave before any trouble occured a pint glass was thrown at us. So not the greatest experience even before the game had started. As for the match itself, we dominated the first 25 mins and forced the normally solid Glen Loovens into a few mistakes. Cardiff then came back into it and got the goal, but surmans work to set up our goal was quality. After that we had little spells looking good, but Cardiff had more of the ball. Nevertheless Killer was winning everything and we looked reasonably solid until the goal. A real shame to lose that late, but hopefully it doesn't knock the boys too much.
