  1. Have a good one everybody.
  2. Who says "come on then to a fellow Saints fan? I think you really have outed yourself this time. I've tried to be reasonable with you but we don't want non-Saints fans on the site. Ta.

    Idiakez

    On trial at Bournemouth.
  4. Not if it hit someone and it went to court it wouldn't. I'm disappointed it happened.
  5. Answer: no. But Rupert was in a fighting mood today so I knew it would go up on the OS. It doesn't do Rupert any favours either and Martin Samuel's next article is going to be very interesting!
  6. I agree but there's a lot of history between Rupert and Richard. People will now focus on that rather than Rupert's wacky and unprofessional behaviour today. I know Richard is passionate but that really didn't help today.
  7. Richard shouldn't have done that though. If that was an opposition fan throwing it at Kelvin we would want the book thrown at them. Lowe has behaved appallingly today but there's still no excuse for what Richard did. He needs to have a long look at himself as he's embarrassed himself on a citywide and possibly local scale.
  8. Hopefully it won't come to administration and there's a late buyout. I'll be honest, I'm not sure what's going to happen.
  9. You too Nick, it would be a boring forum if we all agreed all the time but I like the fact that you show people respect and it never goes personal. I did lose it with DSP earlier because he called me a "retard" and actually, I'm educated to Chartered Postgraduate level and went to one of the top UK Unis despite being diagnosed with 2 disabilities at the age of 25 (after graduation). DSP didn't know that to be fair but it's just people throw those sort of insults around and it's not really on. Anyway, I'll get an infraction for the snotty pm I sent him! Merry XMAS to all other Saints fans on here and your families and hopefully I can get public transport for a change to the Reading game so I can have a beer!
  10. The key is in the overheads - the academy and the stadium. It's harder to service on a League 1 income which is lower than CCC but not the PL-CCC chasm. Any earners above £2-3k a week, maybe less, would be gone and we really would have a team of 17 year olds. I had heard from a good source that administration would be considered if we really got cut adrift at the bottom but remember it wipes out a lot of investments and there's no guarantee the administrator would pick RL as the preferred buyer.
  11. What is exclusive that's left to report is what I would like to ask the Echo? I have had run-ins with the Echo in the past and it's fair to say most 5 year olds write better articles than most of their journalists. I agree, I don't read the paper very often unless I'm around friends' places (family won't buy the rag) but I would hope it would take a critical but fair approach on its reporting of the club to reflect the interest of the city. Clearly this isn't happening.
  12. Sadly I agree. Where that leaves SFC's future who knows.
  13. I assumed it was the walk-out but someone did point out on here that there are other ways to vote, in advance and proxy.
  14. "Family reasons".
  15. They are actually reasoned in their arguments to be fair. The ones that will bite are Dibden PS, Jonah and one or two others (what happened to Sundance?). Having said that, I did send DPS a snotty PM after he got personal which I don't normally do. I'm quite happy to debate with people with differing perspectives and I find Adrian, both the Nicks and whoever WC is decent blokes in that regard who seem to be passionate fans so just wanted to build a few bridges as I think they are genuine fans.
  16. I think he was dreading it and decided when his body was taking the "flight or fight" decision to opt for fight. Wilde of course of went for flight, probably Flybe 752 or whatever to Jersey. I think he is not well though, I can't see him being there by the end of the season either way. The local media may well start to turn after today and I bet Martin Samuel will have some fun although I do think Samuel is a big a prat as Rupert.
  17. Doubt it but Wilde might well call time on him. I'm beginning to wonder if Wilde won't read the accounts today and recoil. Rupert has become a loose cannon. He's done and said some off the wall stuff some of which has been effective in the past but today was just wacky and reeked of someone fairly near the edge.
  18. Lowe out - yes Adminstration - I'd rather be disembowled with a rusty coathanger. Can people please stop saying this is the answer because it just isn't.
  19. Now that's a cracking idea!
  20. Soton bouncers are a mix. Some of them helped me out at Jongleurs when I was attacked a few years ago for my phone and was really grateful, top lads. It's smaller bouncers you have to look out for. I saw one at Yates attack a Saints fan about 6-7 years ago quite viciously and there was another one at the Rhino who was a bit of a nutter.
  21. I'm guessing that's the overdraft on top our liabilities that the bank want reduced asap. Could be and probably am wrong though.
  22. Did Crouch announce this at the AGM?
  23. As much as I want contest that point, it's hard to. I agree with Ponty that perhaps LM should have stood his ground and voted and at least voted so we could see who was following the party line. Fair play for putting your points reasonably WC, even I don't always agree with them. It's rare that I agree with Jonah but cutting the Itchen Suit off today and floating it from Town Quay, never to return is the best solution.
  24. He still would have missed.
  25. PR Plant. You are as useless as your boss. You have a PM and it is well worth the infraction I will get. Saint 1977 1 - Rupert Lowe PR Plant 0.
