  1. I think you should be careful about what you imply our limited company is for. We have no association with the club.
  2. No, in fact it will continue to cost me more money anyway due to providing my support services for free.

    Too Cheap

We have no intention of turning over a decent profit, mainly because of the grief that would bring from the sceptical. We always planned on turning over a small operating profit in the order of a couple of hundred quid, and that remains the plan. Any profit generated will be put back into the business. Charging £10 wasnt necessary, £5 we felt was a fair amount, enough to put off the re-registerees and enough that everyone could afford it... also if I was you lot, I probably wouldnt pay £10, i feel personally that £5 is right
  4. Profile = profits? We have produced our business plan with the intention of turning over a very small operating profit in the order of a couple of hundred quid. Any profit left over will be put back into the business to improve the features on offer.
  5. Yes, that is us, and it is a legal requirement for us to publish our annual accounts at the end of our financial year, from which anyone can view them by accessing them at the companies house website.
  6. no, we have a small amount deducted from what you send us instead

  12. No, please check the T&C's. At the end of the day, if the server does go down because of load, then we will just getting a bigger and better one. Technically this one should be fine, the maths add up, however I'll believe it when we get through a match days successfully!
  13. Fletch Looks like we have something in common, I too run a web development company. I'd be greatly interested to hear about your experience with hosting high usage sites on either vps or scsp dedi servers, as you don't seem to really go into much depth in your post other than appearing as (and I don't mean this in an insulting way) a tyre kicker. The fact of the matter is, as I am sure you are aware being your own boss of an internet company, professional dedicated servers are an expensive business. I wont teach you how to suck eggs, but I'm sure you're aware that hosting something of this size on a vps will have us immediatley asked to leave (as has happened on multi-instances in the past) and the cheaper dedi servers are scsp or offer a limited bandwidth options. Also, I'm sure if you did the maths on request/response per client on match days, you would realise that even a cheap dedi with burstable b/w won't cut the mustard. I'd be happy to talk about this in far more depth with you on this thread if you wish?
  14. On TSF? permenantly.
  15. Dear Mr Exit2, Please amend the swear filter sensibly. fu ck is not a swear word and will be treating ALL instances of fu or ck as swear words... so check would become che**. Also, i dont think arsecandles is really too rude. Love Mr Baj xx
  16. Not at all, after all, you could view the membership list on the forum and count them yourselves. That said, I cant be arsed to log in and check how many have paid, but I do know that we're not even close to financially securing the site for a year... but I'm sure it will come, plenty of time.
  17. There may be a short moment when adverts appear to the subscribed, but only if i bollocks up the setup!!! But yes, adverts will be to guests and non-paid users. (and ironically, the admins and mods, as we need to see the site from all points of view)

  24. Yeah perhaps, we have a few other options we are looking in to
  25. Yeah, although the real test comes on match day... all the assurances and calculations mean nothing until its under a real world test, thats always my assumption anyway... we shall see....
