  1. Let’s tie FF down to a long contract 😂
  2. An FA Cup loss to Bompey, 2 x 9 nil defeats and a relegation is within Ralph’s reach as our manager if he isn’t careful
  3. I’m sorry but very very soon Ralph has to be accountable.
  4. In 12 months Ings, JWP, Vest, Armstrong and Ralph won’t be here and to be fair I don’t blame them. We are what we are and will always revert to type ie an average mid table club. Any players of substance who have ambition won’t stay, it’s been the case for years and will continue to be.
  5. Amazon Prime is also an App on Sky Q. The quality through Sky on Amazon Prime is excellent
  6. Yesterday illustrated exactly why Ralph is our level. No plan B and that won’t be good enough for a bigger suitor.
  7. Worryingly we had 74% possession. To play how we did and to have that much possession is truly worrying.
  8. Like Newcastle they should be ripe for the taking as their form hasn’t been great. Whether we turn up though is a completely different matter.
  9. Ralph, Danny and JWP cannot be blamed for looking elsewhere. And to think people genuinely suggested in November that we could win the league!!
  10. Interesting what you say but with all due respect unless you make top 4 I’m not sure LCFC are big enough - clearly a different conversation if you do get CL. I like seeing other supporters on the forum with balanced reasoned opinions. I often look at other forums and have posted on a few but have sometimes been met with total vitriol - avoid WBA as they appear just plain ignorant and rude!!
  11. Watching that video he isn’t playing anytime soon. Clearly not settled here and I still say he may leave without playing a game for us.
  12. Gray is a 24 year old Premier League winner with around 130 appearances. Benfica and Roma are also very interested. We’re probably financially better placed than those two which is lucky because for standard of living and life opportunities we couldn’t match them
  13. I’m not worrying. It’s football, it’s Saints, it’s my experience over 45 years of supporting them and it’s down to knowing there are far more important things to worry about than whether someone decides to play for our club.
  14. Could lose him? We will lose him. Wouldn’t be surprised if this season is the last for him at Saints. I think a mixture of domestic ambition, international ambition, his age and a reality from what’s happened with COVID will lead to him leaving. If he does nobody could blame him and we’d all do the same if we were in his position.
  15. We’ve been worked out. End of
  16. Embarrassing thread. Close it.........unbelievable
  17. I think Spurs will fall short this season, Kane will go and Ings will replace him. Unfortunately it’s the natural pecking order of football. If it’s done in the right way then who can blame him? We’d all look to improve our career opportunities for more money and the chance of being more successful wouldn’t we? I appreciate some won’t agree with that sentiment - let’s hope DI is one of those!!
  18. Fantastic story, I love hearing things like that. Not wanting to steal your thread but at Euro 96 I was a guest at the England v Netherlands media match which was before the main event at Wembley. Afterwards in the hospitality area I got talking to an old chap about football. He was incredibly engaging and knowledgeable - I suppose we chatted for about 20 minutes. It was only afterwards that I learned I’d been talking to Stanley Matthews.
  19. Maybe that might be the spur to us starting to play
  20. Absolutely this...........communication is key to so much and Saints are, let’s face it, pretty abysmal at communicating.
  21. So we buy a player, in a position we need, for a not unreasonable amount of money, we see nothing of him for 6 months, the club disclose very little and some think there’s nothing to worry about? Bung a tenner on him never playing a first team game.....you never know
  22. ‘On the edge’, ‘complete killer’ and ‘disaster’................just a few of the terms used by Klopp and Guardiola. These two need to take a long hard look at themselves and what’s happening in the world.
  23. And do we really think that Theo will stay fit until Ings is back?!
  24. It’s on Sky so a Now TV pass would do the trick. However a stream would be easily findable. Hesgoal?
  25. I can see Spurs not winning anything, Kane leaving and Spurs coming in for Ings. Natural pecking order
