I agreed to a degree. However be professional, turn up on time, train hard, look to continually learn and work your socks off during a match. Sadly this minimum requirement has been absent in pretty much our whole squad.

I watch Crewe regularly as it’s on my doorstep. They have spent next to no money for years so if that stat is correct from only a couple of years ago then it’s a poor indictment of where MKD were that season.

Feel sorry for him. He’s been a victim of the awful tactics and coaching. Like a good soldier he’s followed orders, gone over the top and has been left taking the flak. Good leadership would have avoided this but likewise maybe if JWP has more backbone he may have ignored those orders and tried to change things during the games.

I’d have sacked him before the start given that team selection and at the latest half time. Absolute joke of a manager…..in fact Selles and manager shouldn’t be used in the same sentence.

Just watching Luton. Big, strong, like to get the ball out wide and are quick. I think this is what we’d have ultimately been in for with Mad Nate. Personally I think they’re a better watch than we’ve been for quite a while. Obviously we’ll never know but maybe if he’d not been a media nightmare and had been schooled in communication he could have worked.

Maybe I’m way off the mark with this. I think sentiment needs to be taken out of all these who stays and who goes guesses. The bottom line is that if the club believe it’s for the best for them (the club not the player) and it makes financial sense, then they’ll go. We may wish to keep Elly, Walcott, Diallo, AA and AMN etc but if the big boys come in then they’ll go 😉

He was instrumental in our win at Everton. Got the flick on for the first and won the free kick for the second. Take that together with the Bompey game and he had a big part to play in a third of our wins (don’t you love how stats can be manipulated!?)

Russell Martin wasn’t backward in coming forward when it came to calling out Obafemi for being unprofessional. He dropped him like a stone and basically told him to get his act together. We could have done with that this season given the stories that are leaking out of SMS. He’s also well regarded as a coach and knows the league. I wouldn’t be averse to him.

Having read the Athletic article the club should reimburse all STH’s. Absolutely awful indictment of our club.

I don’t necessarily disagree with you. What amazes me is the obvious lack of media training he’d had and how Saints invested many millions into him but clearly didn’t address it or even see it before he arrived. If they’d done their due diligence on him as a complete package they’d have seen that he was a bit of a media car crash and put things in place. Maybe if they had we wouldn’t necessarily be where we are now.

I just want to see us win, enjoy going to games and feel good about the club and team. The division we’re in is irrelevant, I’ve been watching Saints for 45 years and have seen players come and go so the division we’re in doesn’t matter. The division matters to the money men more and quite frankly the PL is far too rich for us. For the teams around us that escape are just in for more misery next season - is that what we want or is having a chance of getting top 6 potentially more fun? I appreciate nothing is guaranteed but if we had pulled a rabbit from a hat it would be rinse and repeat next season.

First things first. Don’t sit on your hands and start acting now. I’d therefore like to see Selles gone today. If he’s not staying (which I sincerely hope he isn’t) then why keep him? Identify who you want and if available get them in.

Disagree with me all you want and I was there during the Branfoot era, but Selles is hands down the worst manager we’ve had
