I don’t disagree with you but given we’re going to have to take a chainsaw to the whole structure from (hopefully) the top down is it achievable?
-
Looking forward to the Championship. However I think it’ll take a season to consolidate the changes that will be needed before a proper push for promotion the season after. I take solace from what Burnley have done given the issues they had. Anyone for Neil Warnock as manager?

Crunch the numbers over the last 30 games, look at our form, look at who’s picking the team, look at the lack of any leadership in the team and you’ll all realise we aren’t staying up.

So who’s renewing their ST’s?

Nearly £50M on Tall Paul, Carillo and the nutty rock star from Uruguay……..

Selles is a fraud. Should, like Jones, never have been given the opportunity

So brighter equates to not really laying a glove on City? Shows how desperately poor we are

We’re doing okay so far

We’re potentially 6 points adrift before we kick off. Statistically this season we’ve taken around 7 games to accumulate 6 points. With 8 games left I think the fat lady has sung.

Keep Selles? I’m just assuming you’ve been smoking crack and have completely lost the plot!!
-
Should have just gone for an attacking approach. Not sure RS has one

Sack Selles now and offer Potter a project he can’t refuse - rebuild us and rebuild himself

Whoever, whatever one thing is for sure RS is not the answer and is part of the problem.

It’s okay as some said this wasn’t a must win game. Phew…..that’s lucky 🙄

Well done Ruben. Inspirational

We are so poor!!

If we’d appointed Woy after Walph we’d not be saying that tomorrow is a must win game (which it absolutely is). The wily old dog will keep them up.

Should we get relegated it sets us up nicely for a financial melt down this time next year

I’m sure I recall reading in one of the Saints books I’ve read how it would be a long time before another Saints manager would be trusted with £1M again. RIP Alan

Saint……..I don’t necessarily agree with you. I remember the pain when we last went down (twice) but I do recall the two promotions, the JPT win, the elation of seeing us win, having the ability to compete (ultimately!) and being able to attract players like Ricky and Jose. When we bought the former for £1M it was more than what the rest of the league put together spent on transfers - we then followed that up with signing Jose for another decent sum. We were the Man City of L1 and I have to say it was fun. I recall going to Oldham on a wet cold winter night and seeing us dismantle them 6-0 - that night we had the likes of Ricky, Lallana, Morgan and AOC to name but a few. if we stay up (personally I don’t think we will) then next year will offer up much of the same as this season and we haven’t even touched on VAR. Im a Saints supporter. I want to see my team win and have that feel good factor at 5:50pm on a Saturday. I want to be able to afford to go to games, be able to get tickets when I want them and not to have a moment of celebration ruined by VAR. I’m not a fan of The Prem and quite frankly it’s too rich for us. Yes we’ll lose players if we go down but we lose them anyway as we always have done so nothing changes in that respect. I know opinions are split on this issue and I respect everyone’s view but in summary if we’re playing Championship football next season, as I believe we will be, but have the potential to be pushing top 6, then for me that will be more fun and far better than what I’ve been spending my hard earned cash on for the last few years.

I’m just wondering at what point games become must win because it seems that every week posters are saying that a point isn’t a bad result. We’re playing WH, their form is dire, they’re in the mix with us, we’re bottom and we’re running out of games. So I’d respectfully argue that this is a 6 point must win game.

It’s a bit like having a fantastic state of the art carbon fibre bike - ultimately it still has to be pedalled and I’m not sure whether a number of our squad have ever been on a bike

We’re not staying up. Unfortunately the damage has been done and I don’t think this squad has the stomach for a proper relegation scrap. If we had the likes of MLT, Franny, Marion and The Football Genius to name but a few I would have believed in miracles!
