I’m assuming given McCarthys contract situation he won’t be able to play enough games this season to trigger his salary increase so he’ll play for the rest of the season.
-
Anyone got a spare ticket for the Newcastle game this Sunday?

I’m assuming you’ve left yourself logged on somewhere, like work, and someone has thought it’d be a jolly jape to post this? Surely you don’t want to completely waste a BH weekend!? -
You may be correct. I wonder if they’ll piss away the £150M they generate like we did
-
In fairness he can see the mess we’re in and is getting out. Also I’d suggest it’s probably a great opportunity professionally
-
If we’d have been offered Woy people would have scoffed. Warnock would be a perfect appointment in the Championship. He knows the league inside out, won’t take crap off owners and will certainly not put up with the half arsed performances our players have put in this season.
-
Theo was excellent against Arsenal and scored a goal so clearly he’ll be dropped along with Alcarez with the cunning ploy of bringing them on at 75 minutes when we’re two down so we can win 3-2
-
We’re crying out for pace with this system
-
He’s just cost us the game potentially
-
Tactical change? RS is pissed. FFS!,
-
If he doesn’t change it at HT then that’ll be completely indicative of RS’s management to date. We’re carrying arguably two players
-
Has AA touched it?
-
We also have to consider that for some this is a massive shop window
-
What’s really frustrating is that this performance so far should have been coming in those ‘winnable’ games where we’ve been an utter shambles.
-
Normal service resumed.
-
Yes a good start. However it was a shocker of a mistake which for once we took advantage of. The pattern of play for the first 6 minutes is showing what’s really happening and Arsenal will still win at a canter
-
In his Presser he said he was happy with the Palace game - there in lies many of our issues.
-
Fraud of a manager who’s well out of his depth. Can’t blame him for taking the job when offered it but he’s a disaster.

Like many, Saints has been a consistent in my life, for the best part of nearly 5 decades. Partners, jobs, homes and family members come and go but there’s always been Saints. I’m not however mug enough to just keep throwing hard earned money and time into something that just continues to take, take, take. I’ll accept that its sport and by its very nature is unpredictable but the way the club treats its supporters is at the very best incredibly shoddy. Next season will be I believe a massive wake up call to the club and if they don’t see what’s coming then more fool them.

From memory in our ill fated relegation season. Recommended by Jamie Redknapp if I recall correctly
-
The fans don’t contribute a great deal commercially to the club currently compared to sponsorship and the PL money. The further down the pyramid we tumble the more that changes. I’m no longer a ST holder for geographical reasons (I’m not in Bangkok anymore!) but if I was I’d be seriously considering my renewal. We’re in a different economic climate and I can see the renewals taking a tumble aside from the ones that feel duty bound. If the club appoints another Selles/Jones or doesn’t make an early managerial decision I can see people holding off and this may, just may, start to focus the board a bit more
-
Wonder if they’ll do a ‘lap of honour’ after the last home game? On the plus side I’m saving probably £150 a game by not going to games. Hats off to those utterly wasting their hard earned on this lot.
-
I can actually see that happening
-
I’d get Warnock in. Won’t take shit from the Directors and will skate the players up. Knows the Championship too
-
Jonny Viafara has to take the gold medal surely?!
