I saw his debut at Shef Utd when he came on. It was blatantly obvious then how poor he was.

Won’t be such an easy commute for him if he doesn’t want to move. Yes I know they start late, finish early and he could have a chauffeur but the M3, M25 and A3 can be hideous as we all know. It’s all relative but it won’t be as easy as getting to Staplewood.

He was part of a 6 person relay so he’s only done a 6th of it. That however shouldn’t detract from what he’s done and why.

I know there’s a hate of Everton and I was there when Adrian Heath shattered our dreams. However as a resident in the NW I have to say I find the Toffees supporters far more affable than the likes of Liverpool and Utd. Likewise when my son was young we regularly bought tickets in the big stand at Goodison (to save him from our away rabble 😉). We didn’t take the piss and cheer - not that there was much to cheer about - but the fans were great with us and especially him. That all said if they have cheated the system in any way then they deserve all that’s coming to them.

We’ve not played our first Championship game yet and you’re concerned about whether he’ll be good enough in the PL should we get promoted? In fairness if he gets us promoted and then goes all Adam Armstrong on us then as far as I’m concerned we should get him on the bus!!!

That’s right Cat. I was at that game too and whilst we won we changed the team and didn’t particularly go at them like we did City. It was tinkering for tinkering sake. He should have gone with the same team and said to them that the shirt was theirs to lose.

What annoys me is that in the next game instead of picking the same team and using similar tactics he changed everything. I can’t be bothered to look but wasn’t it Leeds away? I was at that game and it was absolutely woeful.

Funny how interpretations can be different. Two things I take from clicking on the link and reading it…….firstly their ST’s are frozen whereas ours were discounted. Secondly whilst some of the sound bites may be encouraging he alludes to next season being hard whereas I believe the general theme from the Fans Forum until now is that SR will back us financially to give us the best shot to get back to the PL. I am no fan of SR but I’m trying to be objective and I think we should maybe hold judgement until we see how things pan out. Obviously that won’t happen and wouldn’t be any fun!!

Pickford has shown what a good keeper brings you. Forest invested in Navas in January and look what he’s done for them. I honestly think if we’d got this one position correct we wouldn’t be going down.

Rubbish clubs too and a Benross bag ffs! His shirt not being tucked in says he probably playing a municipal somewhere. Only guessing but I don’t think he’s a particularly good golfer!! Of course he may have just hired everything and could be a golfing god!

Think we need to be a bit sharper than that. Our season starts again in 10 weeks. We want/need our business done early as I’m assuming pre-season training will start in 4 or 5 weeks time. We have to hit the ground running.

Next season will already be better than this if we win more than 6, yes 6, games. Think by the end of September we may possibly be doing better than this complete season. Of course it may go totally wrong but personally I don’t care who we beat as long as we start bloody winning some games.

Subbed off just before the end for his own personal farewell. He’s definitely gone and he goes with my best wishes. He’d have stayed for his whole career and would probably have become our all time record appearance holder - if we hadn’t have had SR interfering.

Bompey going through the motions now, The goal killed them and they’re on the beach. Us, Leicester and Leeds then. Roll on next season.
