The Wolves thread.....started three days after the Liverpool result just about sums up the apathy we now all have towards this season.

Unfortunately too often this season TD has flattered to deceive. Yes he’s a top talent but without the right attitude he won’t fulfill his true potential. I feel sorry for him in that in his full debut season he’s had to play in this side, however that said I sometimes wonder if his application has really been what it should have been. I hope he goes onto great things, clearly it won’t be with us, but please Tyler apply yourself in everything you do otherwise you may wonder one day what might have been.

You’re getting 100%, week in week out. How many of our players can you say that about? A true professional in every way.

I’ll put my tin hat on……….For me Jones wouldn’t put up with what the players are serving up and if nothing else he’d have had us grafting. He was responsible pretty much for Luton going up and is on the threshold of the play-offs with Charlton. We’ll never know what may have happened if we’d have kept him but could it have been worse than this? Even if we’d kept him last season he’d have replicated what RM did and I bet we wouldn’t have surrendered to teams like we have this season.

A massive part of the problem is that RM had this pally pally relationship with the players and that they were woefully unfit. In comes IJ and he’s in an impossible situation where he can’t get the squad up to fitness mid season. I appreciate though that doesn’t account for his bizarre team selections.

Why are people still turning up? Honestly I don’t get it. To support the team? Well the team or club don’t give a monkey’s about you and you’re being mugged off every week. 50 years following Saints and I’ve had enough of chucking my money at them. Saved myself a 400 mile round trip today and over a hundred quid. It’s not the time or money………I really don’t mind sacrificing either but for gods sake Saints give us something to get behind, have some pride, be professional…….its not much to ask

Out of interest is that because he is working them and cancelling days off? Apears that before him the players had it too easy and maybe dont like being told they have to graft. Obviously there are ways of doing that but I for one am fed up spending hard earned money watching what has been served up.

The disconnect is massive as Deeney says. How the board approach next seasons STH sales and renewals will be massive to SR, the fanbase and the club going forward. Sadly given their history they won’t read the room and next season will be off to a bad start before a ball is kicked. Appointment someone like Rohl, slash ticket prices and wield a huge axe across this atrocious squad early on and maybe, just maybe, we can put this nightmare behind us.

TBF not much difference to being in the Prem. We’re not competing here so for me the league we’re in is immaterial. I’d sooner be one of those clubs if we had players actually trying and gave a toss, because this lot clearly don’t.
