    Matt targett

Yes and it doesn't fit with the 'Fox is rubbish' rule. Get a grip please.
  2. Interesting take on things. I read the same article and took from it that Ramírez wants to stay at Saints. Nowhere did it say that AM had any encouragement from Saints.
  3. I despair at some Saints fans. Ramírez was absolutely fantastic at home to Villa. I wonder if some of those writing him off were actually at that game. Anyway, shortly after that he got the dead leg injury, which I am convinced held his development back for a long time. He is also just one of those players that takes a while to settle in anyway, plus moving to the Premier League's 180mph style must have seemed a bit of a culture shock after the laid back approach of Serie A. One significant thing to think about is that Saints history is littered with players that took a while to settle in, then showed their worth. In recent days, is there any better example than Puncheon? Patience. He will come good and Inter can just clear off empty handed.
  4. How dull, just wait till Osvaldo gets here . . . . . .
  5. Gazza is the future, but is young and will make mistakes. Boruc was horrendously ponderous and slow in the Spurs and West Ham games. I don't want him anywhere near the first team until he is fit. Added to which he seems to have an attitude. That can't help the "together as one" ethos. If Nigel feels that it would be best to rest Gazza, then I would far rather see Kelvin back in goal. On balance though I would prefer to see Gazza retain his place.
  6. Frankly the Man City site is almost as bad as the Barnsley site. The ManU, Chelsea and Arsenal sites are much better, more useable and less of a visual assault.
  7. I don't think anyone else has picked up on the fact that Tadanari Lee's personal sponsor is Ban Dai. In a whole different league to the other personal sponsors, seemingly made up of various flooring companies, etc. I can see the red and white logo fitting right in on the shirts, but not this year.
  8. Really can't get worked up about it one way or the other. Nothing distinctive about it. Makes me appreciate how good the sash shirts were though.
  9. You can make iCal calendars public and then let people know the address of the calendar. Then if you make any changes to it they are pushed out to everyone who has subscribed. All you have to do is right click (or ctrl click) on the calendar file and choose "share calendar". Simple
  10. Nope, nothing there. Previous seasons, but not this.
  11. My renewal isn't even showing .....
  12. There were three luverly ladies selling tickets in the Kingsland concourse before the match. I bought a ticket from each of them ......
  13. Score 4 goals and it feels like a loss. Wierd.
  14. Has time stopped FFS?!
  15. Why oh why don't we give Martin a chance? Seabourne looks all at sea today!
  16. Funny how both Brighton and Bournemouth fans see us as big bad rivals, but the feeling is not reciprocated. In fact I would be delighted were all three to go up this season.
  17. I read this without seeing who had posted it. Good, intelligent critique Minty. *tips hat in Minty's general direction*
  18. Le Fondre AND Austin please. I think it is fairly well documented that Chaplow will sign permanently in January. Also we need a winger with pace to take a bit pressure off Chamberlain. A loan would be OK there.
  19. and what happened??

    Keeping Chaplow

Chaplow is what we need now and will probably be good enough in the Championship. Morgan will get better the higher we rise in the leagues. He is almost a luxury now, but will become essential in days to come.
  22. Online now. At last. Edit : The OS and Twitter says it is, but it isn't . Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  23. Not online yet. Thought they were supposed to be available 24 hours before the game?
  24. Really, really pleased. He first appeared on my radar when his unfancied S****horpe team played us off the pitch at St.Mary's two seasons ago. Somehow we managed to win, but I still remember walking away thinking we were very fortunate not to have our backsides kicked that day. They played with width and pace and constantly embarrassed our supposedly better side. I also remember thinking that I had never heard of any of their players. Their downfall was an inability to put the ball in the net. He should feel right at home here straight away! Welcome Nigel. hopefully for a long and successful stay.
  25. Report from one who was there http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=479&fid=224&sty=2&act=1&mid=2120208945 Most importantly we know that it will not be Phil Brown.....
