well the way things are going, I would say minimum 4-0 to Utd maximum 8-0 hopefully it wouldn't be any higher than that. Although my mind keeps thinking of that time Man Utd beat Ipswich at Old Trafford 9-0. Whatever the score I think we all agree that we lose!

I would love to believe there was a chance that could be true but the likes of Askham and co growing a pair of balls and making a decision like that is very unlikely. They will probably more likely continue to bury their heads in the sand and keep believing everything will sort itself out with Lowes wonderful guidance of the club.

The season was over before it started for Saints. I am truly despairing of Saints plight. In a few seasons, who knows how far we would have slid down the leagues. Oblivion comes to mind. We will have to start again from scratch like Wimbledon.

I think it’s safe to say that a takeover of Southampton Football club is NOT happening anytime soon. Most of us would love it to be true, but the sad reality is no one is going to save us, especially now with the current global economic crisis. There is no one who is going to splash the cash with little chance of seeing any kind of return of any money they put in. Fulthorpe does not have the money or any other buyers in place to buy us out Nor are there any other people interested in buying us anytime soon. I wish there where, I really do because saints are a mess right now but the truth is its not happening. I would love to be proved wrong and hope I am but as far as I can see it’s never going to happen. I think its time to end this thread it’s become pointless but I think pigs might fly before this thread is closed!

I wish a take over would happen and I hope that these rumours become reality, but I seriously doubt they will. Watching Saints on and off the pitch at the moment is painful. If we were a race horse we'd be on our last legs by now and we'd be put down instead of being left to the slow and painful death that is taken place.
