I reckon Pompey will survive. They will take money from whoever offers. It will not matter where the money comes from. I mean wasn't Gaydamaks money from his gun running daddy’s dirty dealings? All the TV pundits will be falling over themselves saying how they have triumphed over adversity and what a great team spirit Pompey have and how great their fans are etc… There is something really dodgy going on at Pompey, I mean we all knew about the tax rumours of Redknapp and Storrie but I think the corruption runs a lot deeper at that club, probably at lot more than we currently know about. PFC just stinks of corruption actually it just stinks full stop They will be ok to play us you can be sure of that, I must have been one of the few Saints fans who didn’t want to play them in the cup. I really didn’t want to get them because think the players they currently have will be stronger than any team we can put out, I just hope they have an off day come Saturday the 13th.

I am not too sure about this signing, I dont know enough about him. It seems like we will have to wait until tomorrow for this to be confirmed by the club if its true.

Why is it we can only ever get a slim lead? Is it obligatory for the Saints team to make us fans sweat in the closing stages of a game? I know its only early second half but as a long time follower you can see where this is heading.

This is good news its little things like this that shows me things are starting turning about for the better for us. If this had happened last season it would not have been over turned, we probably would not have even appealed. Things are slowly turning in our favour. Could be a good sign for the Pompey match?

I think I must be the only person who didn't want this. If we lose they will have something to gloat over us with. They are playing fairly well at the moment despite their financial postion. I really hope we win this otherwise its going to take a lot to get over it again. Maybe its time for pay back for the 4-1 at their place back in 2005.

I guess the first pay cheque they are paying is Avran Grant's as if they don't pay him and he goes they would completely crumble on the pitch as well. It really is going to take someone with more money than sense to save them now. I am not totally ruling it out though as stranger things have happened before but at the moment it looks very unlikely.

Amusing as it has been to see Pompey suffer so much recently, you just know they will come through this ok. I have this horrible feeling they will stay up and get a new backer. On top for it all the Media will be falling over themselves saying what a wonderful club they are and what brilliant supporters they have. I almost chocked on my coffee the other night when Paul Merson was on Sky Sports News saying what brilliant fans they are and how they know there football down there. I hope they get relegated because of all this turmoil it’s the least they deserve for buying the FA cup with Dirty money.

I've read a few of the Norwich Fans saying he is not very good. But you know sometimes players just need a manager who believes in them to get the best out of them. Pardew must have seen the potential in his performaces you mention that is obviously there. I think he will do alright and can't be any worse than James is playing at Right back.
