My above comment was a joke just incase anyone was offened. If his dad is so keen for him to develop at Arsenal then why did he bother with him starting his career with us? Why not just develop him at Arsenal to begin with? Surely he showed enough promise to begin his career with a premier league club?

I'm a bit annoyed I wanted to play them in a uneven match. I wanted us to have the better team like they did when we lost in the FA cup last year. I wanted the upper hand for once for us. But if this dodgy takeover does go through it guarantees them money for players to strengthen the squad, which means a closer game. I wanted us to thrash them, both Home and Away and heap some pay back on them. But this takeover means those dirty skates b@stards will have a half decent team now, even if this takeover is dodgy, as it appears to be, and turns out to leave them in the sh1t later on down the line. At least from their point of view they will have a team to be competitive with this season. Hopefully they will not pass the Fit and proper test, oh no wait, the whole of football's governing bodies such as FIfa and the FA are, allegedly , corrupt so they will probably rubber stamp it,

God I hate Darren Ferguson, I hope they lose all their best players over the summer. I feel sorry for Huddersfield, but just goes to show we needed second place or that could have been us losing today. So glad we avoided this.

I never said I thought, we would make the champions league but the mere fact that is an aim shows ambition. Something Lowe never did even with limited resources. After the cup final we were in a great position to move forward but what did Lowe do? He sold our best player? Bridge may have wanted to leave and he got the best he could for him but what did we do with the money? Or any of the money from all our brightest and best sold? I don't really want to argue about the past but how do I not have a grasp on reality? Yes Lowe wanted to develop the youth but only because he saw pound signs in his eyes. As I said earlier Lowe ran the football club as purely a business. His first concern was his shareholding buddies and looking good to them. He failed to realise success on the pitch could mean success off it. Or perhaps he knew the gains of success on the pitch would never be as profitable as just cashing in on the talent! Either way he stopped caring at one point if he ever really did.

I really don't see how any sane saint fan could think they are anything alike. Lowe only cared about making money for the shareholders and being in the public limelight. He only wanted a good youth to so he could sell them off to the highest bidder. Any good player we developed, you could be 100% certain would be leaving at the first available chance. He ran the club as a business almost forgetting or ignoring the fact we are a football club and need success on the pitch. Cortese wants success on the pitch. He keeps a low profile. He doesn't sell off our promising players at the first chance he gets. He seems to have a vision to get us back not only to the premiership but has grand ideas of us challenging for a champions league place. The only similarity they share is the lack of commucation with the fans. But they are nothing alike whatsoever. Also I believe Cortese to be a human being, I still not convinced Rupert ever was

I just finished work and was walking home over the bridge and I noticed St Mary's Stadium all lit up. The floodlights were on as well. I know sometimes if there are functions on the outside gets lit up but it wouldn't be usual for the floodlights to be on as well. Excuse my ignorance if this is common knowledge but is there a game being played tonight? I thought for a moment it could be the forum match but I thought that was cancelled? Then I thought maybe new signing being shown around but I doubt its that either , probably being a bit optimistic there So does anyone know what is going on tonight at St Mary's Stadium ?

Hopefully Pardew will take him to Newcastle they are meant to have money to spend from their Andy Carroll cash. I think Pardew was interested back in January too, lets hope he still is.

Apologies, yes it was the 1 nil game we lost at fratton park the season before they smashed up their own place. Regardless of wether we'd get a points deduction or not for crowd trouble, I just don't think as Saints fans we should sink that low. Lets show them that we are better than them. We can take 6 points off them and if they get aggressive we can rise above it. Surely taking the points off them will be sweet enough
