  1. The big 6 will just keep chipping away at our squad now. They will not be happy until it's average at best and not ruffling their feathers any more. It would be refreshing for the player to come out and say he doesn't want to move but that's never going to happen.
  2. If I'm being honest I can't say I care about what happens next for him now. If all those that have left had stuck together we could of had a really great team here now. All the players who have gone on to the supposedly greener side, were better as a team instead of a bunch of individuals warming the bench of the big clubs. They all could have stayed and made history with Southampton side and achieved something special. They knew each other's game so well through going up the leagues together and were better as a team then a bunch of individuals. Greed and ego is the only reason to move on because if they had stuck together I really do believe they would have won silverware together. So I don't wish Morgan well. I don't care what happens for him with Utd. I just hope we put the money to good use.
  3. Excuse the bad language but this is the first thing that came to mind when I read the article title http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20150701-dani-osvaldo-southampton-contract-terminated-2518604.aspx
  4. Better - best - average attendance for 2014/15 Liverpool 44,658 - Tottenham 35,727 - Southampton 30,652 - Swansea City 20,554 Obviously we will fair a lot better here when the club eventually increases the stadium capacity
  5. As you say it should have been a forgettable game really but I remember this game well. I remember Ruel Fox having a good game for Norwich. The reason I remember it so well I was stood next to some ****ed up guy next to me was shouting major racist abuse at him, shouting at our players to get him. I am pretty sure that guy would have been arrested today. I remember that replay too I was so gutted to miss out getting to the semi finals after the win at Old Trafford and scrapping past Bolton with that last grasp long shot from Barry Horne to get extra time. Just felt like it could be our year. To blow it against Norwich after all that was a major disappointment.
  6. It felt like he saved all the penalties in League one and the Championship, although I'm not sure what the ratio of penalties conceded he saved in that time actually was. He even carried it on in the Premier League. The first game back against Man City he saved one, all be it a bad penalty, and he saved another in the 3-2 loss to Man Utd at St Mary's.
  7. He may not be retiring but it could still prove to be his last game if we bring in a goalkeeper on loan. Obviously not including a potential testimonial match
  8. If it was his last game that sounds a fitting send off for him. This thread should be a sticky. Well done on reaching the 300 game mark super Kelv! Many thanks for the part you've played in the clubs rise from the ashes. The Leeds away game will always stick in the memory but you've been much more than that. Like Rickie from spot Kelv saved almost as many as Rickie put away. This was an important one. Although we only drew the game it proved to be an important point in our season.
  9. The goals are here http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2qefna_all-goals-and-english-highlights-6-1-southampton-vs-aston-villa-16-05-2015_sport
  10. While I can see the benefit of a ground share for Bournemouth. What benefit would it bring to Southampton? I can only think of the negatives for us. The pitch wouldn't get the recovery time it currently gets. The stadium would get worn very quickly requiring more maintenance. Plus if we are playing European football next season that's even more wear and tear on the pitch. It wouldn't feel like our stadium any more either. We don't need the small amount of money having them as our lodgers would bring either. I can see no reason on our side to agree to it. Just because they might need a better stadium with better facilities for the media it doesn't mean we should bend over backwards to help them just cause they are our close by neighbours.
  11. I know it was his dream move and it is the club he supported all his life but it just looks so wrong seeing him in the Liverpool shirt celebrating like that!
  12. Ok when you put it like that
  13. Yeah me too. I just hate Poch and want him to fail. I can't believe Mourinho got out thought by one tactic Poch.
  14. That result took the shine off my afternoon.
  15. He'll get a hat-trick on Monday now... you wait and see... Well here's hoping
  16. I agree. It sounds like he won't be easy to replace. I would hope we have a replacement lined up to start asap. I am surprised we didn't tell United to F off especially with the work he is doing with J Rod unfinished.

    Sadio Mane

Can someone ITK do some digging? I can't believe its anything that serious.
  18. Hopefully Cork actually wants to stay and Koeman surely see his worth by now. Hopefully Koeman will have a word with the the board to sort it out asap!
  19. My thinking exactly. If he has just worked his way back from a potentially career ending injury, then surely he will be sensible enough to avoid a career ending move.
  20. Just like the friendly against Bayer Leverkusen, we never looked like scoring then and we didn't

  22. I have to agree! He claims his 6 year journey has been ruined. Clearly he doesn't give a flying duck about the club. Its such a shame that both he and Lallana have soured my memory of the amazing journey the club has had the past 6 years.
  23. Wow an amazing 6 year journey destroyed. Who's 6 year Journey is more important, yours Morgan, or the fans?
