I don't see what the point in the last 3 years of hard work was for, because we are headed straight back to league 1 now. We might even fall further now. What a total mess. So F"cking angry with Cortese. I wish he'd would just f"ck off now! I am genuinely really sorry for Nigel Adkins, he is a top bloke and didn't deserve this treatment. Whoever ends up with him as their manger is going to one very lucky club. Thanks for all your hard Work Nigel you deserve better treatment than you got here. You may no longer be Southampton's manager but you'll not be forgotten here and will always be fondly remembered!

Yeah I agree. I posted this earlier...Whenever something good happens at the club there, it is always followed by some negative cr@p like this. For example. We start moving up the League 1 table and there were rumours that Cortese was leaving going to Italy. Then we start brightly in the championship last year and suddenly there are rumours the Liebherr family want to sell the club. Now results and the team are massively improved and there is a rumour the Cortese s going to sack Nigel for some no hoper. I may not have all the false rumours in the right order here and there have been many more so you can see the pattern here. There certainly does seems to be some dark forces at work because I just can't believe this is true!

It seems that whenever we show signs of progress, someone feels the need to unsettle us. Hopefully there is no substance to this.

I expect that both the club and the player are waiting until the end of the season to decide what to do. If I had a say I'd sign him up now on his current form. How much did we actually pay for him anyway? I remember it being a lot for a league 1 player at the time. Was it rumoured to be 1 million? Did it go down as an undisclosed fee? I really can't remember.

Not really sure this shows too much. But its him playing football none the less.

I am very pleased with that result. Its a clean sheet and 3 points maybe we should have scored more but we are up to 15th now, so you have got to be happy if you are a Saints fan tonight Its also a little pay back for the result at home last season when we should have won!
