I had my Blackpool mate over today, ANZAC day, and he was singing 'glad all over' as they are looking good for a play off spot (unlike us). Anyway it reminded me of seeing the Saints at Selhurst Park back in the 70s. We went on 'you tube' and there is a clip of the Palace team in 1990 and guess who is there singing in the front row? Have a look on 'you tube' at "glad all over Crystal Palace". May be a tribute for our manager?

In his profile on Soccernet, it says that Saints got 5 million pounds for him which could go to 10m depending on performances. If that info is correct Markus could get back one third of the price he paid for the club.

We were a premiership side for 27 years on the trot. We were never a yo yo side. Hopefully we will be back again in a few years time and the last 5 or so years will seem like a blip in our history.
